Trump frequently singles out individual countries, including close allies, with claims that they're taking unfair advantage of the United States. He often does so without citing specific evidence.

Monsieur Trump, plaisez oh vont vous baisent en haut le cul vous l'idiot foutu.

I thought the Eau Claire rule is what really harms Wisconsin dairy farmers was enacted in 1930's and a try to fixed the problem was blocked in 1999 by a bill by Rep. Blunt, (R). Trump not grasping a single Canadian company (Grassland Dairy Products) cancelled milk orders because of new Canadian food safety rules and has nothing to with NAFTA just show how big of a simplistic idiot trump really is.

Trump conflates "leading" with "being a total dickbag", it's like he seems to think being a leader is all about how you act, not about what you do.

And yeah, the Free Trade Agreement is going to change about as much as that wall is going to happen.

But seriously, it's just Canada.  They could go away tomorrow and the USA would barely notice.

Hey, asshole, stop trying to president. Stick to what you do best: incoherent speeches and tweets full of lies and misspellings.

Anyone that ever saw 3 minutes of his TV show already knew that about him.  He's not a leader.  He's not a motivator.  He's not a problem solver.  He's a loud-mouth arrogant ass that thinks being the biggest shiathead always works.  After 3 months he still hasn't figured out the world is laughing at him.  South Korea, China, North Korea, Russia, ISIS, Mexico - all of them have openly laughed at his stupidity.  This is what happens when you're born to privilege and no one ever tells you no until you're an old adult.

Most of the oil shipped into the USA from Canada is sent here fro processing and then shipped out of the country.  We'd miss the lumber we get from Canada more than the oil.

The average price of one American gallon of milk today in Canada is $3.38 USD.  (That's $1.20 CAD per litre in Canada).

So tell me who's being unfairly subsidized again?

Energy is more than oil, monkeyboy.

Canada's energy market is vast; 98% of their energy exports are used by the United States.  So when you consider what amount of oil they export that doesn't end up in the US, realize that's only 2% of their exported energy.

Was actually thinking more of hydroelectric. California imported quite a lot, although I think they might not be as dependent on it  as they once were.

Last I checked, Quebec sells a hell of a lot of its power directly to the NE states.

Francois Dumontier, a spokesman for Les Producteurs de lait du Quebec, said imports of U.S. milk products have increased since 1993 and now account for three-quarters of milk products in Canada.

"So the Americans are not suffering from the current terms of NAFTA and existing trade agreements."

My guess is that Trump voters would notice. 80% of the midwest economy relies in some way on trade with Canada.

I would gladly trade our larcenous supply-controlled dairy industry for the same sort of consideration in the softwood lumber market.

Cmon Trump, lets make a deal.

Canada is even losing ground on that front.  Last I saw, under 50% of current NHL players are from Canada.
