He has praised the new administration for its power to "change the course of America in ways that are biblical."

..."I've had the distinct honor of teaching [Attorney General Jeff Sessions] on [immigration], and many others," Drollinger said. "There's nothing more exciting, when you're a Bible teacher, to see one of the guys you're working with-to see him or her articulate something you've taught them when they're under the gun."

Power-hungry bastard might wanna review John 18:36.

Probably wouldn't do any good, though. I'm sure he's come up with a rationalization already.

The danger is that he might trust the attendees, especially when several of them spout the same nonsense they imagine to be "biblically-inspired" on some topic that affects everyone

There are times I really wish I had stayed in my fundie cult.  Several of my classmates hold office or government jobs, including a few seats in Congress.  But then I just imagine a Bible study with Donald Trump and feel vindicated for choosing to GTFO.

The Republican presidential front-runner said in an interview with CNN's Don Lemon Wednesday that Perkins, the president of the Family Research Council, had given him notes on what to say when he visited the evangelical university in Lynchburg, Virginia.

"Tony Perkins wrote that out for me -- he actually wrote out 2, he wrote out the number 2 Corinthians," Trump said. "I took exactly what Tony said, and I said, 'Well Tony has to know better than anybody.' "

FTFA: Ralph Drollinger, a right-wing pastor with a long history of ties to Perry and other Trump Administration officials, claims on his web site to be running weekly Bible sessions specially for the Trump Cabinet. He has praised the new administration for its power to "change the course of America in ways that are biblical."

YOUR DAILY REMINDER

Donald Trump is in no way a Christian. He have never asked for Christ's forgiveness, nor does he ever feel he would need to do so under any circumstances.

Do these people honestly believe in the Bible, or are they just using it to justify their greedy behavior? I don't think it's both. This "Bible study" seems more like a seminar in how to use the Bible to get people to follow along with whatever plan they've hatched to keep the public poor, uneducated, and dying in the street because they've lost their insurance.

If God wants to prove his existence, one of those "bible study" sessions would be an ideal opportunity to throw around some lightning bolts or massive heart attacks or something like that.

I'd consider buying into the existence of a deity if something like that were to happen. Just sayin'. Any day now, God, if that's your real name.

I was starting to think these guys were just a bunch of evil greedheads out for a wild time of sucking the life and livelihood from the US.  But they have a regular Bible study, so they must be anointed of God.

The only part of the Bible that Trump likes is the concept of selling your daughter as a whore.

2017-04-20 04:33:13 PM
The article doesn't claim that Trump is in any of these studies.
And the "evil" guy who is supposedly running them doesn't seem to make it to a lot of the meetings.
No one should have any problem with them using the Bible study to feel better or more confident about which choices these guys are making from among their legal options.  And even if you did, there would be some kind of private meeting with some esoteric knowledge regardless.
If they do or try to do something beyond legal bounds, it won't matter if the Bible study inspired it or not.
