Because in America, anyone can be president, and that's just the risk we take.

A federal lawsuit brought by a so-called "Dreamer" deported to Mexico has been assigned to District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel - the jurist famously attacked by then-candidate Donald Trump over his "Mexican heritage" in a separate case involving Trump University.

So let me see if I have the timeline right on this.

1.  Police pick him up without his ID, he claims he left it in his friend's car.
2.  He's deported in spite of being protected under DACA until next year.
3.  Gets mugged in Mexico and fearing for his life reenters the U.S. illegally and turns himself in to authorities.
4.  Authorities claim they have no documentation of his being deported and even if he was covered by DACA his leaving the U.S. means he's violated the residency requirements even though he was deported against his will BY the government.
5.  Current lawsuit.

Does that seem accurate?

That's about right.

Also, his "deportation" involved being driven about fifty yards into Nogales and left on the street corner.

MSNBC was talking about this guy earlier this afternoon.  He claims that the reason he was caught sneaking back into the country is that he had been wrongly deported.  Thing is, there is absolutely no record of that having happened.  That means that this guy left the country willingly, obviously to visit family or friends in Mexico.  Well guess what that means?  Yep, he lost his DACA protections by leaving the country voluntarily.

This isn't my interpretation of things, it's straight from the MSNBC reporting.  Sorry convicted criminal, you have to go back!

Because bureaucrats would never lie in order to cover up a mistake.  You're so trusting.  It's quaint.

Yes, everyone involved scrubbed his recent deportation because they're so farking concerned about this one guy that they all put their careers, and possibly even their freedom on the line.

For farks sake, just stop.

Or, it means the border patrol drove him over the border into Nogales as he claims, figuring this retard wouldn't be able to rat them out.

But he broke the law, and they are police, so thats good enough for you, right, mein Herr?

If he really was deported about 50 yards, yeah, I can see that not getting recorded.
