the group of at least ten tiny ducklings

"Hey, we have still pictures, we could count how many there are"

"Nah, too much work"

This is the animal equivalent to "How many six year olds could you take in a fight?"

When you're a duck, you're a duck all the way
From your first mother cluck to your last dying quay.

The dog needs to see his quack for a tranquilizer.

I guess that dog knows all too well the horrors of a horny duck.

It was OK for me in Firefox.  Maybe they fixed it.

In other words, some ducklings got extremely lucky they didn't meet a jack russel.

The fact that the larger-than-a-chihuahua mother duck also charged at the tiny dog had, of course, nothing to do with it running away.

When I was a kid we had a little biatch of a chihuahua that would never back down when our german shepherd started a fight.
sweet little puppy, but absolutely fearless when she got mad. At some level I have to think the shep was just being polite, but at the same time, I saw her tear into his legs a few times...

Is it the polite movie fight where everyone circles around and waits their turn to fight one at a time, or is it just a mass rush? Because that will affect my answer. Also, am I allowed to pick up a child to use as a weapon against other children? Because that will add to my score.

My chihuahua/pom cross would fight a Tyrannosaurus Rex if it came into his yard.  He would lose but he would fight all the way.

Firefox for me, and is still vertical (with those fake fuzzy sides)

Oh, that's what I get.  Yeah, I hate that way of squaring up the loooong format of most cell phone cameras when they are used vertically.

I misread that as "No quiero que los papitos" and was wondering what kind of midget sub/dom porn subby was referring to...

Was doing a Costco shopping trip one Saturday morning when a crowd* of about a dozen or ducks caught my eye.
They marched across the parking lot right up to an older couple who was loading their stuff into their car, surrounded them...
and waited. Just...waited.
"Oh look, honey!" sez the lady. The man looks...and without a word proceeds to open up a package of muffins and and they both pass them out to the ducks.

The ducks were shaking the humans down for muffins.

Apparently this tribute was sufficient, as once the package was empty the ducks made no further demands, merely heading back to the water feature at which they'd been hanging out.
It was the lack of noise that made me nervous.
No quacking, vocalizations or 'cute' begging behaviours...just expectation with the unstated threat of what might happen if expectations were not met.
I don't know if this was a regular thing for this particular people and this gang o' ducks. The ducks didn't accost anyone else transferring groceries...and it was a Sunday morning, so there were lots of fresh-baked muffins exiting the store.
/CSS

* Not sure of proper terminology for a bunch of ducks while on the ground. In flight, they have several terms...came across the term 'badling' for while on the ground.
It seems appropriate.

Never attribute to mallards that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

My sister raised ducks for 4-H. They are bastards that are very abusive to their females. Not just domesticated ducks are bastards. Even the wild ones are monsters toward their females.

Run, puppy, run!
