It's all fake. 90% of America loves him but you'd never know that from the left wing media polling machine run by the new world order.

Gaffes, instability, sticking it it the poor, middle class, and vets--these are the hallmarks of the Trump presidency. Low approval ratings are just a result.

This is not a bug, it is a feature.

A historically unpopular president is arguably an awesome development for their political party, for they can push through all sorts of unpopular legislation under that administration without worrying about the political fallout.

Of course, this only works when the unpopular president has some modicum of competence for the job, and the supporting party can unify to achieve those unpopular goals.

You keep on keeping with Rasmussen... Meanwhile, Trump's average approval rating is the lowest since Gallup began presidential approval surveys in 1953

There are two issues here:

1.  There is no honeymoon period because Republicans effectively ended it with their treatment of Barack Obama.  Despite what some might think, Democrats are capable of remembering back that far and acting on that.

2.  Trump really sucks as a president and probably as a husband and father.

I would really like his legacy to be "Quickest to Quit Office"  or "Impeached for Treason" or something similar.

The big problem would be the quality of the replacement.   Stupid and evil are not related qualities.  (Think Bush vs. Cheney.)  If we are to have an evil President, we might be better off with one who is also stupid -- as long as he isn't stupid enough to start a nuclear war.

Congress approval ratings are around 10%. So Trump is no surprise. Furthur proof that we no longer live in a Democratic Republic. The richest 1% have total control now.

2017-04-20 12:41:13 PM
No, criminality, fraud, treason, weapons-grade incompetence, general deceitfulness and duplicity, these will be the hallmarks of this administration. Low poll numbers are just a clerical detail .

An abject failure in all policy, a gross degradation of government and civil society, maybe one or two wars. Those will be hallmarks of his presidency. The horrible poll numbers will be the highlights.

2017-04-20 01:13:50 PM
I would say general incompetence and ineptitude is the hallmark of Trump's presidency

Actually, I have no problem with "uppity women" per se.  But I do have a problem with corrupt people -- including Pelosi.  She has had no problem with putting her personal financial interests ahead of legislation to, for example, reform the credit industry.  I have no problem wishing she would step aside and allow someone with a better moral character move into her place.

Unfortunately I don't see either happening with the current congressional make-up and I don't see democrats making any gains in 2018. What may be a more plausible scenario may be "Dead of heart attack" or other nefarious reasons, see JFK.

When more people, especially republicans, start getting directly affected by that mouthiness and bluster, they will get over it.

I just wish there was some way to make them realize leopards are dangerous without them having to have their own faces eaten to see it.

I have faith in Joffrey. He hasn't been in office long enough to REALLY fark anything up that badly yet.

He will fark something up way more than he has already. He's got nearly 4 years (please let it be only 4 years) to do it.

He has not yet begun to fail.

Actually, the insane way the liberal media fights and lies about Trump is the highlight of Trump's anything.

It elected Trump. It will re-elect Trump. Enjoy.

So I guess that FOX & other con-media outlets must be sane in the way they lie about liberals since the conservatives didn't feel many ill-effects?

The liberal media wasn't as objective as they should have been but their outright lies were FAR fewer than the right-wing propaganda machines.
