No, yes, yes, no.

Subby, Scott Adams made millions of dollars drawing poorly and successfully predicted the election outcome in 2015.

What have you successfully done? Like, ever?

That's a lot of confidence over nothing.

Sure, be happy, China likes Trump in a crisis Trump created.

And whatever happens, just ignore the Russian stuff that keeps floating to the top of the swamp.

I find it interesting that the man who invented the concept of the pointy-haired idiot boss is incapable of recognizing that President Manbaby is the living personification of him.

bloobeary: I find it interesting that the man who invented the concept of the pointy-haired idiot boss is incapable of recognizing that President Manbaby is the living personification of him.

You probably missed the point.... Pointy-haired idiot boss was the hero of the comic the whole time!

"The Economy? Looking good."

I find that answer vague and unconvincing.

Today their biggest complaint is that President Trump hasn't shared his tax returns with the public.

I would say the biggest complaint is the corruption. And him profiting off his office. And him making shady deals with foreign nations. And him spending millions every week to golf and vacation. And him hiring cronies and family to grift. And his idiocy. And his hypocrisy. And his narcissism. And his...

The taxes will show that he's A) Not worth anywhere near what he claims B) He pays no taxes C) He makes no charitable donations and D) His foreign connections.

Scott Adams's blog: for when American Thinker and Breitbart links just aren't dumb enough and smug enough to get them sweet hateclicks and angry outragejerks going.

2017-04-20 10:31:50 AM
Not that this is worth the effort, but...

"Today their biggest complaint is that President Trump hasn't shared his tax returns with the public."

Yes, that whole "colluding with Russia to interfere with our elections" isn't happening.

"How's everything else looking?
The economy? Looking good."

The March jobs report was low, and January and February were both revised downwards. Other than that, he's right, Trump hasn't trashed the economy yet. Hooray?

"North Korea? Looks like China is on our side. Good sign."

Yeah, that whole Carl Vinson thing, handled like a pro.

"Syria? Those Tomahawk missiles were downright "Presidential""

Okay, go fark yourself if dropping bombs is what you think of as "presidential." It didn't help. Syria is as farked as ever.

"Illegal Immigration? Already down 70% from Trump's persuasion alone."

[citation needed]

"Supreme Court? Gorsuch is respected and qualified, even if you don't like his ways."

You mean how he was derided by both sides by pretending that the case he heard was "simple" even though everyone else recognized that the statutes were all a serious clusterfark?

"Healthcare? No one said it would be easy, but the focus and energy are in place to get something done eventually."

Really? That's what you got from the AHCA debacle? That something will actually get passed?

"Tax reform? Too slow for the country's taste, but observers expect something good to come out of it. That's why business optimism is high."

If by "good" you mean "a huge handout for corporations and the wealthy, and a giant fark you to everyone else" I guess observers are expecting something "good."

"Climate change? Anecdotally, it seems to me that the debate has evolved from mindless bullying of non-believers to a lower confidence in both the climate models and the economic models (which are not science). That seems like a step toward clarity."

And what better way to debate science than anecdote?

Not ended up yet another asshole emblematic of the problems in America, where "money = success" no matter how stupid or evil you are, sadly peddling his influence as a cartoonist into bloviated opinions so useless as to deserve mockery even within the context of his own cartoons?

Remember, Trump's also a "huge success" because he's made millions. If that's your only KPI, it's not hard to find "success stories" around every corner, owned by reprehensible assholes who have nothing to recommend them.

I will go to the BLS stats that show 70+ months of consecutive job growth.

But those were all lies while Obama was in office. Now? It's all hunky dory and those are the best, the greatest stats out there...

I wonder what changed?

There was a spot on NPR this week saying that stops/apprehensions were down quite a bit from December. 80% or so.

By this theory, tell us more about your heroes the Kardashians.  As they have substantially more money, they must be more successful.

Your posts are not coherent on your blog nor here, Mr. Adams.

Have you gone mad? The Moors muderers did a great deal of note, but that doesnt make them automatically right if I was to disagree with them about something.

So was Michael Moore.  Who cares?

People who wish to have an informed set of facts on the opinions of the country rather than bury their heads in the sand?  Michael Moore tried very hard to get his party to listen....but in vain and it has long lasting repercussions for individuals, the country, and the world.  So I care.  And so should you.  It's important to read opinions that do not match yours.  It's how you become informed and able to make better decisions on things that matter regarding the world around you.

When you're the guy white-knighting for the guy white-knighting for the guy who is predictably screwing everything up, you need to take a long look in the mirror and ask tough questions about yourself.
