The fact that someone would get an organ for their loved one then back out is beyond me.


Usually it is a temporary medical issue on either the Donor or Recipient's side. You can't donate or receive with any infection so they have to let it resolve before the transplant can go through. And with the health problems associated with kidney failure, issues can be common.
But, with it being major invasive surgery to permanently remove a chunk of you, people have been unable to go through with it.
