One would think the proper punishment would be for him to live with all three in the same house.

I really don't see why anyone would want to do this.

Lock your wife and your dog in the trunk of your car for a few hours and when you open it up which one is happy to see you?

Oh FFS! From the article: The investigation also determined Correa isn't legally present in the United States. Investigators booked Correa at the Hidalgo County jail at 7:31 p.m. Tuesday, according to Sheriff's Office records. Jailers released Correa at 5:37 a.m. Wednesday.
And he'll never show up for his court date.

Bigamy is a felony!?!?!?!?!?

That seems a little harsh to me.

Ah, Mexican rationale. Even though my family is from Mexico, that type of reasoning somehow makes sense, in a twisted, messed up way.
/Got married at 32.

Why? I wouldn't be surprised if it's in-part considered fraud, since in a lot of publicized cases it appears that the multiple spouses were not aware of the arrangement.

Lucia said she married Correa on July 17, 2004, in Nuevo Leon, Mexico

Lucia also discovered that Correa had married another woman in Nuevo Leon in 1996 - four years before they were married.

If he'd stopped at two wives they'd probably have let him plead down to mediumamy, that's just a mrs-demeanor...

Fair enough due to the lack of awareness. Rules regarding marriage are strange to me. You can be Poly and have as many partners as you and your spouse want and it's all good, marry more than one and you're a felon though. I'm not arguing the legality of it, it's just that a felony seems like a big deal.  Plenty of people cheat on their spouses without them being aware of the arrangement.  I'm sure it has something more to do with the tax breaks and what not that come along with it all.
