(Bang The Book)   Maybe Toronto's biggest problem is the Milwaukee Bucks. Their size is shocking to the system. The Raptors found out dinosaurs aren't extinct. They just go by the name, 'Greek Freak'   ( bangthebook.com) divider line

Playoff Giannis is a force of nature. Can't wait to go to the game tomorrow night.

Who the hell is approving the Bang the Book submissions? The site reads like an elementary school book report.

They needed to get Snell back in  there instead of Delly in the 4th. Delly was crap.  Also, when Thon gets a full off season of weight training and development,  holy balls will the Bucks be scary.

That and the enthusiastic unrelated political dick waving opening post pretty much show the trajectory.

I blame the right

The Bucks won a game! Lets write an article about how we might have to write an article about how the Bucks have emerged. And post it just before game 2.

Fark mod: Well, but Bucks actually lost game 2, but GREEN IT ANYWAY!

Antetokounmpo legitimately looks like the next NBA superstar, but it is not likely enough to beat a deep Raptors team with multiple all-stars, at least this year.

The Raptors were playing their top-level basketball last night, and the Bucks were in it until the last minute.  That tells me the Bucks game 1 performance wasn't a fluke, and they have a pretty good chance of picking up both games in Milwaukee.

This team is extremely good, and if Jabari gets healthy they could the next elite team in the league.  Also, Thon Maker is starting to show the Bucks were not crazy to take him at 10.

check profile, from Toronto

The Bucks dominated your team on your home court on Saturday and came back from a 13 pt deficit in the 4th quarter to tie it up in the final minutes last night. They missed some good looks and some costly free-throws. Your "deep Raptors team" with "multiple All-Stars" looks outmatched so far and is heading into Milwaukee for the next two games. Good luck but I wouldn't be surprised at all if you head back to Toronto down 3-1

Bucks in Six!

Nice analysis. It's weird how the Bucks are a sixth seed and Raps a third.

*mumble mumble regular season seperating wheat from chaff*

Can't see them coming back to Toronto down 3-1. They have an illustrious history of losing the first game in playoff series and coming back to win.

Nerve wracking? Yes. Almost as much as watching them give up double digit leads all season and then having them come back to win.

Raps in 6 or 7.

Agree with you here, for sure, seems quite bizarre.

Even as a Bucks fan, I have to agree that it doesn't seem likely that they will win both games at home. I would bet they split them, then Toronto wins at home, then Milwaukee wins an emotional game at home to force a game 7. What happens in game 7 is anyone's guess. If I'm being realistic, I think the young Bucks lose against a loud and spirited Toronto crowd and a focused veteran Raptors team. Neither of these teams will be beating the Cavs in Round 2 so I am more than happy with a hard fought 7 game series for these young guys, minus Jabari. This wasn't ever supposed to be our year anyway. But a fan can dream!

Bucks in 6 :)

No problems with me in your post.

I earnestly wish your team the best of luck, but I'm rooting for mine.

Yeah, Toronto won game 2, so, no reason to panic yet.

The Celtics on the other hand......

It's hard not to post with spin about "your team", but I tried and I think I succeeded. Your quoting "multiple all-stars" in derision, when the Raptors have multiple, non-marginal all-stars, says more about your spin than mine. Same for "deep Raptors team" , given how the Raptors did after the All Star break with Lowry out.

For that matter, the analysis which you suggest marks me as a fan boy is "Antetokounmpo legitimately looks like the next NBA superstar, but it is not likely enough... at least this year".

Glad you're happy about the Bucks. You're going to find watching them play the Raptors stomach churning. Raptors fans sure do. The Raptors have a ludicrous number of wins after trailing by double digits this year, and their fourth quarter stats are obscene but galling when you look at the stats for the other three quarters.
