The real-life version of The Boy Who Lived .....

Yeah, I'm pretty sure having the name Harry Potter , doesn't actually make him a wizard.

He's 19, no longer a boy. So he survived boyhood. Not particularly special, but the best kind of correct.

If he's nineteen he would have been born in 1998. The first Harry Potter book was published in 1997. Parents knew exactly what they were doing/are complicit in his poor life choices.

I had read it was a term for pot smokers in the 20s. But who knows? Maybe it was used in both cases.

I hate to break it to you, but the first Potter book came out 20 years ago. The first movie was 17 years ago.
The oldest members of "The Harry Potter demographic"are now in their early 30s.

Yeah, I know. It makes me feel old, too.

He could have been born in 1997 if he's turning 20 this year rather than just turned 19. The first book wasn't published until late June, and didn't gain popularity for a few months, so it's still plausible that his parents just made a very poorly timed mistake.

There's nothing like cruel parents to screw up a kid. Why would you give that name knowing that he would forever be tortured for it. I also think it is mean to give your kid a common name, but spell it wrong. My daughter in law is stuck with that. I can't get her anything that has her name on it. DO NOT get silly while naming your kids. They will hate you for it.

See AOL, this is why nobody likes you any more.

Actually, if it had been Harry he would have then received plus 50 points because the grass was a horcrux and he accidentally smoked one of Volemort's souls (having lit the reefer with dragon fire or some such shiat)

I believe Shel Silverstein and Johnny Cash explained it to us.

If you are going to the store for a burger, and I give you 5 bucks to get me one too, you're not suddenly a burger salesman. You're getting your own burger and doing my transaction for me. The guy was sub dealing, he was getting his stash, and he friend gave him some cash to pick up his as well.
