Still not as bad as dragging out and beating a customer, claiming your product will end racial tensions, or claim Hitler didn't use chemical weapons in Holocaust Centers.

I'd put Adidas' farkup somewhere around the level of Pepsi, maybe just above, but still below United.

Are we really that thin skinned as a society that this is not an outrage?  Jesus farking Christ.  Some people are taking this statement out  of context.

That's a classic example of intentionally taking something out of context so its outrage-able.

Does the US use chemical weapons to execute prisoners? No, it uses poison gas. Is the lethal injection a chemical weapon, too?

Honestly, if I was a cop working a protest, and one of the protesters offered me a Pepsi, I would assume it had been up someone's ass only moments before.

Re: Boston Marathon campaign
Hope you all had a blast at the party last night. Unfortunately, by now you probably will have heard that our recent marathon marketing bombed for reasons we do not yet understand. Nonetheless we have every confidence in the killer new material we've been developing and expect the focus group to be blown away tomorrow.

Friend of mine ran the Boston Marathon. He said he would never do it again...just like the last two times he said he wouldn't run it.

Just waiting for him to say, next year, "Welp, I'm gonna run in the Boston Marathon..."

"I survived" is, or at least was, a common phrase in the running community. I have dozen of old Cross Country invitationals t-shirts that say "I survived..." and then the name of the race.

Why are we not holding up these easily offended schmucks to be pilloried and derided by the community as deserved?

Perhaps if these people got a torrent of "You're a whiny asshole" responses, they might think twice about jumping on a pointless non-story.

An event can't be that somber and reverent if you cast Mark Wahlberg in the movie honoring it.

They eventually cry wolf themselves into oblivion. It'll just be background noise.  But the sad thing is, somethings need attention.  Once the modes of communication are deprecated it will hurt the real causes.
