Leicester gave up only 1 away goal.  Their hill is smaller compared to Barca.  The Foxes still have a chance, and a better one at that compared to Barca, who again gave up multiple goals and failed to score on the road.  Not sure about Dortmund or Munich.

Munich is certainly at a disadvantage, but if anyone can come back and prevail at Real,  I think it's them. Dortmund have the quality to come back and their win over the weekend hopefully helped them recover from last week's event.

Dang, I don't get Leicester on any of my streams. I'm going to have to watch some guys called "Real Madrid" and "Bayern Munich".

Why do they insist on broadcasting the nobodies when they've got much better, more popular teams they could be showing?

I may as well put Leicester on the big screen and stream the Real Madrid game.

Leicester has a fighting chance, but they're not ones to chase a game, so they've got that against them.  If they open up at the back and Atletico score, they're boned.

I think Bayern is out.  They can definitely slip two or three past Real Madrid, but keeping Real from scoring, especially at the Bernabeu, is too tall an order.

There is no way in hell Barça slip four past Juve.  Not with that backline and with Gigi Buffon still in such good form.  Guy is like fine wine.

Monaco and Dortmund are in for a VERY exciting game and that could go either way.

To be fair, Munich had so many chances.  They are not out of this.  Both German sides can score quickly.

So conflicted on which one to watch.

BVB has to come out blasting early. Getting Reus back in the lineup will be huge. If Reus and Dembéle can create chances for Auba (and if Auba can cash in on them, which hasn't been a mortal lock lately), then they can do it. Losing Bartra on the backline worries the hell out of me.

I'm watching you guys -- and The Guardian live updates.

Leicester have been just a bit too strong on forward passes into the box.

2017-04-18 03:02:10 PM
Both Leicester and Atletico are taking a rather casual pace to this match, and that will probably continue until someone gets a goal

Settled on the RM - Bayern game.
So I have to listen to John Strong and Brad Friedel.

Nice touch by Carlo Ancelotti there.

Damn. I must have hearing issues cause Friedl and Lalas sound the same.

Bayern need to score like, ten minutes ago to stand a chance.

2017-04-18 03:11:43 PM
Yeargh. Mahrez with one too many touches and Vardy drifts offsides. Wasted chance

2017-04-18 03:11:58 PM
Great header to beat Schmichel, and Atletico have the away goal tie breaker.

2017-04-18 03:12:04 PM
Better call Saul!

2017-04-18 03:13:18 PM
Ref missed the fingertip save by Neuer.
That should have been a corner.

Looks like Real is all over Bayern.

Good save off the line for Bayern.

Neuer is bailing Bayern out big time.

I know strikers rely on good service but is Lewa even playing?  Haven't heard his name in minutes.

Krooney

He's getting no help. Play is on the other end of the pitch by a huge amount.

2017-04-18 03:24:25 PM
Leicester are very passive despite being down 2.  There is no urgency from the Foxes whatsoever.

2017-04-18 03:28:33 PM
Alaba's turn go Rooney.

2017-04-18 03:29:40 PM
Hungarian ref is going to let things get out of control if he is not careful.

Ronaldooney.

Atletico using Leicester's strategy against them in that sit back and wait for a counter.  Foxes cannot afford to sit back and must get 3 goals to move on to the semis.

0-0 at halftime in Madrid.

Ugh, another first half of a million chances missed.

Also, I had drinks with a real Leicester supporter last night, it was like finding a unicorn.

Actually, that IS Atletico's strategy.  Simeone wrote the manual on sitting back and hitting on the counter.

Madrid with a headed clearance off the line... this one is on a knife edge right now...

Ooh, penalty to Bayern...

Robben pulled a Robben in the area and Bayern got one back.

What a clearing header by Marcelo off the line.
Really thought that one was going in.

but WOOOOOOOOOOOOt

Tough over the shoulder chance for Vidal, knocks it over but that's a really hard skill so not surprising.

Just needed to wait a fraction of second to keep that down.

There was contact with Casemiro, but not enough to justify the PK for me.

Finally.  Now they need to get 2 more in 30 minutes.
