I wonder how he found a Pikachu costume for a 6'5" man.  On second thought, there are certain things I'm probably better off not knowing.

What I learned from this is that The Rock does not understand how to use goddamn apostrophes.

That is adorable. Squeeee. The only thing that would make it more adorable is if he caught her and tossed her up in the air.

The dad bod is cute too.

Can't fault The Rock for that. He said that his kids were upset that they couldn't watch any of the movies he was in because of language or violence, so he decided to do a movie that they could watch together.

$112,462,508 world-wide on a production budget of $48M.  Pretty standard ROI for his movies, outside of the Fast and Furious ones.

You know if he is half as nice as he appears to be then I am good with that.  He can be a bad ass but does not seem to take him self to seriously.

/He is a big kid again with his kid.

I'm not harshing on him at all.  Quite the opposite, actually:  TOOTH FAIRY is on my watch list, preferably
with my younger nieces and nephew.  And a good friend of mine was one of the screenwriters.

Well, I know he's trashed at least one phone diving into a pool after a puppy.

Not a problem, Mr. D. Johnson *snicker*
*cough*
Sir.

But let's be honest, the first few dates will happen covertly, without awareness of any adult as they go run off into other sections of the mega mansions together, and by the time they open up about the relationship he'll have to decide between letting his daughter be with 'the love of her life' or dealing with an increasingly risk-prone teenage daughter out to 'get even with her overbearing father'.

Sometimes you have to make sacrifices to keep the blow out of the nose and the digital recorders silent.

I won't mock anyone for dressing in costume for children.  I've been a child who was thrilled the few times my own parents did.

But I will mock anyone who pluralizes "daddy" with an apostrophe.

I have a boss like that.  Big burly heavily tattooed guy, but he's super nice and his wife pretty much rules him.  And he'd do anything for his kids.

The Rock uses shine it up real nice, turn that sumbiatch sideways and shove it up your candy ass.

It's super effective!

I'd use bewear for the Rock just because it's a huge teddy bear, but there has to be a rock/fighting type to use for him. Hmmm...

You see him a lot around certain parts of South Florida. His only hard rule is No Autographs because he's standing in line with you for a chicken chop platter and just wants to be in-and-out with his food like everyone else.

I can see that, lived in Los Angeles a while and the folks who went bonkers over the "stars" were tourist.  The rest of us were like, please do that elsewhere were in line and want whatever were waiting for.

He'll be about 60 or so when first date shows up.

i dont think hell be all that intimidating at 60 and he'll be asleep well before 10PM curfew.

The best manager I ever worked for was like that. He looked like a psycho thug. Like the cop in The Shield. And was the most competitive, focused manager I ever knew. He got promoted so fast in the company, ending up a director reporting to the CEO about six years after joining as an assistant branch manager, and he did it on talent and results.
Then I saw him ten pin bowling with his young daughter, and letting her win. It was just amazing to watch.

The kid will be fine if he shows proper respect for the girl.

Or try to fark her.
Or kiss her.
Or hug her.
Or hold her hand.
Or talk to her.

Yeah, he's farked.

Let's see... he'll still be about 6'5", and will probably still be in great shape for his age for his movie career.

Unless his daughter is bringing home starting linemen from a really good high school football team, he's still going to be pretty intimidating.

This is actually the second time he's dressed up as Pikachu for the little one.  I may or may not follow his Instagram because it's equal parts badass, hilarious and adorable.

He also has a fifteen-year-old daughter, so I imagine a boy or two has already been called candy ass and invited to smell what the Rock is cooking.
