Actually, in a unanimous Supreme Court decision, stun guns have been ruled to be protected by the Second Amendment.

The decision itself is very short and worth a read.  The concurrence by Alito and Thomas is longer and goes into more depth as to why, but I think the actual decision covers it pretty well.

I tattled on a girl who brought a stungun to high school once. At lunch she was sitting with some of her friends, zapping the bottom of a table. I have no idea if she brought it just to play with it and show it off or if she intended to use it on a person, but it felt prudent to alert an authority figure.

Thank goodness it was a stun gun and not a regular gun. Now, everyone goes home, and no parents are grieving.

Still, I'm sure it was a Shocking experience for all involved.

Hey, FFA (Future Farmers of America) student, do you know what you get if a farmer puts 10 pigs and ten lug nuts in the back of his truck?
No.  What?
Twenty sows and bolts!  (Zappppp!)

I tattled on a girl who stole a balloon in kindergarten.  Everyone congratulated me on being a narc.  The girl grew up to be top shelf p**** and she blacklisted me.  I never got to see the forbidden city of beautiful women.

Every once in a while, I get a balloon in the mail with a note for me to stick my d*** in it.  I do but it's not the same.

Somehow I made it through my twenties without law enforcement using one on me. Haven't been arrested for yelling fark in public either. Even though I did so just yesterday in a supermarket after a call from my accountant.

When I was in High School, most of us probably should have been hit with a stun gun or cattle prod. Repeatedly. Might have calmed us down, or at least knocked some of the fight out of us.

Might be a good idea for todays college campuses. Not to knock any fight out of them, but because they seem to deserve it. But then again, so do most of the professors.

Well, considering that:

"She can't even go to school and be safe it supposed to be a safe place," said the victim's guardian."

is the adult influence in the girl's life, I'm pretty sure it's not the girl's fault she's speaking like that.

Oh, and the weird thing about the whole topic of stun gun vs taser, is that the one that has "gun" in the name is the one that doesn't actually shoot anything. It's really stupid. They need to be reversed.

"We was trying to figure out why no one called us to let me know my sister had got tased," said the victim's legal guardian.

Why would you give the exact quote?  Why wouldn't you paraphrase?  Do you want to demonstrate the witness' lack of education?

Recommendation: stay in school a bit longer, it hasn't taked hold yet.

It felt like I got shocked by lightning,

Yes, because you have experienced that.
Maybe the other girl was just trying to help and shock the stupid out of her?

So what if it's protected.  We can make reasonable laws about high capacity batteries and which colors you can buy and this wouldn't have happened.  Of course some company would come out with an Assault Stunner which used belt fed batteries (thus skirting the high capacity battery limit) so we'd better have a committee pick which ones are allowed just in case. There. Rights aren't always right.
