For a magpie to behave like this with humans it must be a fairly natural and common behavior with other magpies. And yes you can find several other videos such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2h0SeoRe6E

A wide variety of displays are seen, with aggressive behaviours outnumbering pro-social ones.[64] Crouching low and uttering quiet begging calls are common signs of submission.[65] The manus flutter is a submissive display where a magpie will flutter its primary feathers in its wings.[66] A magpie, particularly a juvenile, may also fall, roll over on its back and expose its underparts.[66]
... Birds may jump on each other and even engage in mock fighting. Play may even take place with other species such as blue-faced honeyeaters and Australasian pipits.[68]

Yeah. Magpies are known for being territorial and attacking humans.

http://www.abc.net.au/science/articles/2002/07/04/2588235.htm
How to avoid being attacked
• If you get attacked while riding a bike or horse, get off immediately
• If a particular bird is harassing you repeatedly, choose a different route for the next few weeks until the chicks fledge
Wear an icecream container on your head when crossing magpie flightpaths

Dear dumbass city boy,

Crows and magpies both harm crops and predate on chickens. Since the family's farm had both and was iutside the natural range of magpies, both had an automatic death sentence. Usually from an O/U .22-.410 often wielded by my great grandmother.

/the woman could take out the eye on a penny at 100 yards at 90 years old
//she'd take her .410 down to the skeet range to embarrass th "city slickers."
///she also paid a bounty of 10 cents a head

It's OK, pumpkin. You can roll out with the ad hominem, but if someone does the same to you, you should pout and sulk.

Here's something you should read, written by an USDA wildlife biologist on controlling nuisance magpies:

http://icwdm.org/handbook/birds/Magpies.asp

Here's the relevant section:
Shooting
Shooting can be an effective means to eliminate a few offending magpies or to reduce a local population. Shotguns are recommended for shooting. Magpies can be stalked or shot from blinds under flight paths. They also can be lured with predator calls. Magpies, though, quickly become wary and learn to avoid hunters. Shooting in conjunction with a hazing program provides greater control of damage than does shooting alone. Consult local, state, and federal laws on shooting.

/grow up
