Hm, based on my life so far, that sounds about right.

69 was pretty good at most ages.

I'm almost always happy. I know how lucky I am to have been graced with this.
And my sense of humor has gotten me through the dark patches of life.

A 23 is one third of a 69.  So rotate 60o instead of 180o and figure it out from there.

Huh. I turn 69 this year. Finally, I'll be happy. About time.
Actually, my old age has been very enjoyable. Don't fear it and take care of yourself.

Fun fact I just learned.
That song was released 18 years ago this month. Now I can send it out to buy me cigarettes, and not my son.

At 23 you have no clue how much shiat is about to roll downhill your way.

At 69 you have seen some shiat and have zero farks to give anymore.

No wonder the year I was 46 was so much of a clusterfark. I knew what was coming, but still cared.

So I'll only be happy 2 times in my life, I already missed the first time and I'll be lucky if I live long enough to see the second time. Thanks researchers. You really did us a solid there.

What do you mean, you 'missed' it?  Were you born on a leap year or something?

You'll never be happy, it's an imaginary state invented by advertisers.

The best you'll ever do is content, and even that requires a lot of compromise.

Get over yourself, realize that every single piece of creative media you don't create yourself is an attempt to take your money, and the world is a meaningless drudge towards oblivion.

That said, If it makes you happy do it, and give no farks about the opinions of other people.

That's bullshiat.  I'm 68 and last summer was the best summer I've had since I was 13 and discovered that the girls were growing boobies.  I was happy all summer and fall.  And then I had to go back to Florida.

So, you might not be able to be happy all the time, but you can be really happy for a while.

Surprisingly, that is what I thought about when I read the headline. I used that song in late night music broadcasts on community TV back in the day, hoping someone would get that I was playing it at 25 or 26 minutes until 4am. Nobody did, but that's because nobody watched, because it was Australian public access TV.

How can a person be 23 and 69?

Actually my brain just thought of a really great way.

I'd do the second with the first.
