There was also that time he openly invited the Russians to collude with his campaign live on national television, but that hardly counts as proof.

It's so obvious, like that time he sold 20% of America's uranium to the Russians.  If that isn't treason, then I don't know what is.

I've been told that the real crime was perpetrated by whoever leaked the information about these meetings.  That's who the villain is.  Everyone else involved is a victim.

Jebus, I only had to go 4 paragraphs down to find this:

FTA-""We did not include anything in our report ... that had any reflect of collusion between members of the Trump campaign and the Russians," Clapper said. "We had no evidence of such collusion.

Schiff was "surprised" by Clapper's assessment.

"I don't think you can make that claim categorically as he did," Schiff said. However, he offered no details about the alleged circumstantial evidence."

This is starting to get really boring.

After observing Trump's behavior on the matter of Russia/Trump collusion over the last couple of months I can come to a conclusion based purely on his behavior. He guilty as hell.
The last couple of weeks especially  are a give away.
He knows he's culpable.

I read yesterday, Diane Feinstein (privy to highly classified Intell)  when asked how it'll all turn out, say  rather casually but with resolve He's going to have to resign.

I'm beginning to get a sense of what it must have been like in Germany before WWII. People with a certain set of views see terrible things happening but keep telling themselves it's okay. They keep telling themselves it's okay day after day.

The days become months and the months turn to years. To admit what is happening is hard. To admit what is happening is wrong is to admit their choices were wrong which would mean their views are wrong but that can't be. It simply can't be.

So things got worse. And worse. So much so that they attempted to kill off nearly 1% of their own people.  The entire world turned against them and still they went along.

Day after day
Month after month
Year after year

Until more than six million Germans had died. Until most cities were unrecognizable. Until they couldn't along go along any longer because they could no longer go.

Until the world extended a hand and helped them to their feet again.

The United States was one of those countries. We extended a hand when it would have been as easy to turn our backs.  We extended a hand to those who would not admit they were wrong. We extended a hand to those who went along without conscience.

Who in the world will extend their hand to ours?

I remember, during his campaign, thinking that he couldn't seem more like a Russian puppet if he tried, and I was pretty sure he wasn't trying.  I see nothing's changed.  What's disheartening is that all this was more or less known before the election.  There are more details now, more people involved, but there was plenty of evidence to support his collusion with Russia before the election.

Everyone knew, no one cared.  I don't know if they'll care now that it's become more obvious but...

You think he'll resign? He's going to go for an all out power grab and demand his followers fight back against the Deep State that is trying to destroy him. Trump will upend everything on the way out. And that includes lots of people getting angry and violent.

I'm convinced he literally has no idea what's going on day-to-day.  He has never had a serious 9 to 5 job and now he's on call 24-7 surrounded by Secret Service.  He's exhausted AND a moron.  The moron part is the part he constantly proves.  The Merkel disaster is the latest evidence.

The founding fathers intentionally wrote into the Consititution that even the perception of corruption requires investigation.  Even if no evidence exists because they understood that a corrupt person would normally not be stupid enough to look into a television camera and ask a foreign goverment to collude with them.

On The Media had a great story about it a couple weeks ago.

Making political enemies when you're shown to be guilty as hell is not going to go over well. He may resign, he may be removed in handcuffs, he may croak of natural or unnatural causes. There are too many variables in here to really be confident in any single conclusion.

"With respect to your particular involvement, the report established that there is substantial and credible evidence to conclude you were at least generally aware of the actions of the Patriots' Trump employees involved in the deflation of the footballs collusion with Russia and that it was unlikely that their actions were done without your knowledge. Moreover, the report documents your failure to cooperate fully and candidly with the investigation, including by refusing to produce any relevant electronic evidence (emails, texts, etc.), despite being offered extraordinary safeguards by the investigators to protect unrelated personal information, and by providing testimony that the report concludes was not plausible and contradicted by other evidence."

It's tough to prove collusion.

Let's say that the Trump campaign was keeping the Russians up to date on what they were doing and what they needed while indicating how beneficial a Trump Presidency would be for the Russians.

And let's say that the Russians used propaganda and hacking to skew the election towards Trump.

You still have to prove a hard link between the two activities.  And proving intent is difficult.
