Susan Glasser is smart enough to know this truism, and it's actually kind of brilliant to use this, because it keeps Politico above the fray, while very tongue in cheek, and well above Donnie's awareness.

Say what you want about Russiagate, at least you can define what it theoretically is supposed to be:  Trump campaign conspiring with Russian government to steal the election.

No one, despite my pleading, every explained to me what the Benghazi scandal was supposed to be.

The Trump-Russia connection is strong enough that Trump fired Flynn over it.  Strong enough that Sessions chose to lie about it.

I'm not saying "Where there's smoke there's fire".  I'm just saying the Trump team is doing enough running around with fire extinguishers to make you wonder.

As I noted in a previous discussion: citing Trump's tweets as paranoia demonstrates a failure to understand Trump's attitude. Trump is not desperately denying the accusations against him; rather, he is rallying his supporters because he craves attention.

Point taken.

Still, I'm under the impression that people in the White House are panicking because the investigation has legs and won't go away. It undermines their efforts and the public's confidence.

Regardless of any facts, Comey will declare that no evidence of any attempt by any foreign nation to influence the election exists, that no evidence of any collusion with any member of Trump's administration with a foreign government exists and the entire matter will be lost and forgotten. Trump supporters will cite Comey's statements as absolute proof that liberals are desperate to take down their great leader (while simultaneously still believing that the FBI's failure to indict Hillary Clinton remains a travesty of justice), the media will turn their attention to other matters and any further data suggesting a connection between Trump and his people with the Russian government will be relegated to far-left websites where it will be utterly ignored by anyone who does not already believe it.

If Hillary called the embassy while it was on fire and laughed I still wouldn't care about Benghazi

Also no one mad about it seems to care about the 1983 Beirut embassy bombing, I wonder why

I, however, have you listed as argumentative and contributing nothing but snide accusations.

A conspiracy theory isn't necessarily bs.  There was the conspiracy theory in the 20's and 30's about the Sicilian criminal conspiracy.  There was the conspiracy theory of the CIA smuggling drugs to fund allies against the VC, the conspiracy theory of selling weapons directly a sanctioned country to bankroll Contra. Watergate and the attempted cover-up was called a baseless conspiracy theory also.

Of course there was tangible proof of all those.  Unlike the random babble of a decrepit and hostile imbecile that has too much free time and is armed with a 10 year old smart phone.

You are making up stuff now but that is no surprise coming from a fake troll account that was created the day Trump announced his candidacy.

In reality, I have been contributing to the opposition of every POTUS for the past 14 years on Fark.

By the way, Champ, Trump didn't announce his candidacy on the day I signed up.

Ok, the month.. Besides, you have admitted it multiple times before when I called you out.

Nope. You're off by about 50 weeks.

I'm sure it's simply an honest, non partisan mistake on your part.

Are you just hoping that people won't do the math?  Your account date says it all.

Are you unfamiliar with the concept of "years"?

June 2015 and June 2016 are not the same month.

You are right, I misspoke, you created it a few days after he won the Republican candidacy on  On May 26 . That does not change the fact that you created this alt account in order to troll.

gimlet: Archidude: gimlet: Archidude: gimlet: Archidude: gimlet: Archidude: gimlet: Archidude: gimlet: I think everyone is lying. We have become so partisan that the truth is no longer used by any of the entities that should be trying to protect us.

The scary part is that people are OK with the lies as long as it supports "their team's"  strategy.

You're lying about that, right?

You are a perfect example of what I am talking about. A fake troll account created the day Trump announced his candidacy.

Why don't you reveal your real Fark identity?

It's refreshing to see an honest, nonpartisan thinker like you who knows that any opposition to Trump is entirely fake and a reflection of both sides being equally bad.

Right Champ. Your lies absolutely prove your honesty and my dishonesty.

You and Trump really have a lot in common.

Says the guy with the alt troll account created a few days after Trump "secured his 1,238th delegate, achieving a majority of the available delegates."

My God, you have me. Anyone who signs up within a week of a news event is clearly a troll. It's conspiracy against our flawless Great Leader.

You should report me to Drew to protect the purity of Fark.

You have admitted it, openly, multiple times.  Every time you attack me on this forum, I am going to call you out on the fact that you are hiding behind a fake account that was created to troll alleged Trump supporters.

Oh, do quote the posts where I admitted being a troll.

I mean we just finished documenting one of your lies. Some proof is probably  in order.
