What happened to that 48% bullshiat poll a few days ago? That's a pretty spectacular drop.

I suspect that the absolute bottom is around 35% or so, that 35% being the die-hard team-sport Republicans where (R) is enough to garner approval.

GWB spent some time around 25%.

It can and will drop lower on crap like cutting out EPA, NPR, Meals on Wheels, things like that. Starting a war with North Korea probably won't help Trump's ratings the way 9/11 helped W.

It's a bit of a circular condition, though. The news reports negatively on the President, so his approval numbers go down, so the news reports a drop in approval.

CNN's taken to just calling Trump a liar or positing that Trump is making claims "without evidence". The former is an opinion that purports to read the mind of the President. The second purports to have evidence of non-evidence.

It's no wonder the President's got such low ratings. The networks have it out for him.

Bush got lower.

He was around here in 2006, though, when Democrats won 6 Senate seats, 31 House seats, and 6 Governor's mansions.

Yet, Obama was higher in 2010 when Democrats lost 6 Senate seats, 63 House seats, and 6 Governor's mansions.

Glad someone is keeping track of people who should lose the right to vote and be rounded up and stuck in those Jade Helm, FEMA built reeducation camps.

The good news is that people will see that no matter how bad the president, it's still us that run the country. Our livelihood depends on what we do. When a president causes catastrophe you can look to the people and see that we tank because we give up.

So don't give up. Do what you've been doing, work as hard as you used to, don't worry about what you see on the news. Just keep doing what you do.

Unless you're dependent on the government (looking at you red states), in which case step up your game a little bit. Stop waiting for somebody to "create jobs" for you. Just start doing something that's helpful in your community. Even if what you have to offer is not profitable, when your neighbors see you doing so many helpful things they will help you survive in one way or another.

Soon the dissatisfaction with 'Government' will be sufficient to roll out the Alternative. ^_^

9/11 was initiated by a foreign group. So far, NK is doing nothing but chest beating. Until NK actually lands a warhead on US soil (SK and Japan doesn't count), US going into NK will look exactly like a frightened bully pre-emptively beating the beta male, scared that the beta male may take over the role of the frightened alpha.

I might suspect that the Trump admin might try to gin up a terroristic action to roust up the emotions of the populace. I doubt they can execute it properly and clear evidence would point back at the group, and perhaps proper treason convictions would proceed and the proper capital punishment be implemented.

1 Now why would the press report negatively, if not for something negative happen?
2 So you are saying the approval ratings only depend on the press? Not human citizens who approve or dissaprove?
3 Now why would CNN call Trump a liar? He has never ever lied about anything. Ever.
4 And just what is the evidence that Obama wiretrapped Trump Tower?
5 You kind of have to guess the mind of 45 to wonder how he went on a paranoid rant about Obama wiretapping him with no evidence whatsoever.
6 Yes. 45's low ratings are all because of the press. Trump has taken actions that 100% of everyone approves of, so actually his rating should be close to 100, but the lying media brought it down to 37%. So sad and unfair.

Yup.

It's easy to forget that about 20% of the people in the *entire world* think just like Trump, and think he's great. There are a lot of stupid, tacky assholes in the world.

Here in the First World, we generally have been smart enough to mostly keep idiots like Trump from getting elected to office (though we've never had a problem with them running large corporations). But in the last 30 years, the United States has lost its way. With Trump, we've officially turned the corner into being a Third World country, run by narcissistic thieves. I mean, seriously, style-and-personality-wise, what is the actual difference between Trump and Saddam Hussein? Or Kim Jong Un?

Hopefully this has taught us a lesson and we'll get back on track.
