They're letting lizard people fight in the UFC?

Meh, they know the rules, they are made very aware of the implications.  If they are unable to abstain from such usage, they need to find a job that wont test them.

Subby, I read the article. Where exactly do you see a backlash?

I'm assuming subby was referring to him/herself as the singular fan outraged?  I also cannot find any evidence of backlash in that article.

Do the losses by the other people still count?

'Cause that's a fun way to keep people undefeated, if so.

Yeah, technicallycorrectisthebestkindofcorrect.jpg...

But weed is not exactly a performance enhancing drug.

Sure, beat the fark out of each other until both your brains are mush and the chronic pain is so bad you'll be crippled once you're older than forty.

But don't smoke pot.

FFS.

Maybe it's because it's performance dehancing.

You know, because a couple of guys who smoke weed before a fight are going to do anything other than peace out.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation confirmed

That's who the  "backlash" should be against, not the UFC.

If you lose to someone else that pisses hot.

So, like, if they want to hype up a fighter that lost, they say the other guy tested positive for pot, then he's undefeated again.

They should have purged their systems with Fight Milk.

Yeah, and Brock Lesnar popped positive for actual roids before his match, was allowed to fight, kept his Win AND the entire cash purse. So, punishing two guys for weed in this way seems at the very least disingenuous but more accurately farking retarded. The UFC does not have the high ground on this decision in ANY way.

Lesnar tested positive in an out-of-competition test taken days before the fight (as well as in his post-fight test), but the results were not returned until after the fight. That's not something the UFC controls, as USADA handles their drug testing program.

The questionable decision, on the UFC's part, was to waive the four month testing window for Lesnar (that applies to retired fighters), in an effort to save the UFC 200 PPV. That said, it's the system the UFC and USADA put in place that caught Lesnar. They've done a pretty solid job catching juicers (Rothwell and Barnett currently provisionally suspended also).

So he tested positive for roids before and after competition and was not punished in any way whatsoever. They tested positive once for marijuana and they get their wins stripped. That sound fair to you?
