Better yet, why does this make it to the news?

Also, if the parents need a nanny cam to know what their kids are doing and when, then they fail as parents.

I'm gonna post to reddit the skype call where I told some people to hang on a minute I need to go wipe my kid's butt.

By these standards I'll be on prime time tomorrow.

So, while you are sleeping you know exactly what your crotch fruit is doing?  Please tell us your secret!  Inquiring minds want to know.

Well, not really.   Just wanted to call you out on your obvious bullschitt.

I'm a light sleeper, any noise coming from the house triggers me to wake up and investigate.

Also toddlers are pretty loud when they are awake and usually want you to join them.

So eat that bullshiat

I can understand a silly video like this going viral, but it's it really necessary for news outlets to get in on the action? Online, I can just ignore the articles, but I've seen the local TV news waste screen time on the videos.

2017-03-19 02:23:50 AM
This is just a hunch, but maybe the kids are not falling asleep because of the obnoxious flashing lights hanging above their cribs.

(I suspect their parents have been reading too many books that give advice like, "Your toddler needs five hours of naptime a day to grow up healthy!!!", completely irrespective of differences between body types and daytime activities and such.  However, I am not a parent so I'll leave it as a mild suspicion and leave it to actual parents to decide.)

2017-03-19 02:30:31 AM
Surely the parents knew exactly what was going on. It was still cute.

When my oldest got big enough to get out of the crib we transitioned him to a bed. Then every night for the next couple of months I sat my ass in his room for at least a half hour telling him to get back in bed whenever he tried getting out.

2017-03-19 02:39:11 AM
It's a nice goofy break from the continual onslaught of articles about Trump and his administration. It also reminded me that I am grateful my kids are grown. I like sleeping through the night.

1nsanilicious:

Also toddlers are pretty loud when they are awake

Except when they've decided to be quiet. You shouldn't make generalisations (yeah, I know, this is Fark) based on your own limited experience - toddlers, being human, exhibit a range of behaviours, just like the rest of us. If yours decided early one morning to NOT scream for company, and explore his/her nostrils instead, how would you know?

2017-03-19 02:58:54 AM
This is news.

Hell, my 7½ year old twin grandkids have been pulling way worse for years.

It has gotten to the point where, with respect to furniture from my childhood and my kids'child hood ends up destroyed when we move it there. So much that I've said on many occasions, "This is where we send food stuff to die."

No... no they're not. Not when they know what they're doing is questionable. I am an extremely light sleeper, off-shifter, and there was more than a few times my girls pulled shiat off while I was laying awake in bed.

/like the time my oldest daughter (3 at the time) took a Sharpie and proceeded to walk circles around my living room with it on the wall. I literally watched my wife die a little that day.

//note to all, deep woods OFF is the bestest thing in the world for taking Sharpie off of walls.

There is something about the ridiculous order in which their mother places the cushions at the end which leads me to suspect that night time escapades are the only bit of freedom these two poor children ever have. Look at the neatly lined up pictures along the wall, too.

First you are an ass. Everything about your comment says you are an ass. And not a nice curvy ass. An u pleasant ass that makes smelly farts.

Second I put my kids to be at 8pm. I got to bed more like 1am. So, like most parents, I am not sleeping when they are first in bed, and peak in on them.before I actually go to sleep myself.

So we do you need to know what they are doing while we are sleeping cause they are almost certainly doing it while we are awake. If they wake up at 5am enough to leave their beds we usually fine out about it when they come wake us.

/I feel bad for replying to a troll comment from a smelly fart ass.

I'm sorry, what seems to be the problem?

If they're awake and active all night, that means they'll be groggy and sleeping all day when they're with their mother (presumably) doing stuff.

That's a problem that solves itself: Inactive toddlers during daylight hours is a gift from God. So let them party all night. Don't disrupt their nightlife activities. It makes your day much much easier.

2. Somone a few comments down rips into Subby

4. Fights ensue

Kids.

Can't kill 'em.

Oh wait.

2017-03-19 07:41:17 AM
Overhead, twirling lights, soft pillows lining every hard surface?  Of course the kids are going to be all over the place, as soon as the coast is clear.  Those kids are old enough to scale vertically, time to dump the cribs and go to bunk beds.  Get rid of all the soft stuff, put them in there during some daylight hours and let them blow off steam.  I promise they will sleep through the night.  Being sleep deprived makes them twitchy all day, and I'll bet their daytime care giver thinks they have ADHD.  Get them playing all day, and the monsters will be worn out and sleep all night.  Toddlers are supposed to be perpetual motion machines as that is how they learn at this age, not sitting in a circle or at a table sitting quietly.

Some of you guys are very good at making it sound like you know what you are talking about.

But trust me.... You don't.

I think you just want to make yourself sound smart, when in reality you dont know what you are talking about.

This is how bad info gets passed around.

If you dont know about the topic....Dont make yourself sound like you do.

Cuz some Farkers belive anything they hear.
