"It's a pattern with him - he sometimes counterpunches so hard he hits himself," said Ari Fleischer, who served as White House press secretary for George W. Bush.

Please, continue hitting yourself, Donald.

Donnie is delusional.

2017-03-19 04:51:27 AM
The important thing is that Donnie has spent another $3 million of taxpayer money on yet another weekend getaway. But he's holding  an important meeting on the VA. Except the VA secretary isn't there.

It's a neverending shiatshow.

"This White House is on two tracks," Fleischer said. "The legislative one, which has been surprisingly and pleasantly productive, and the other one full of self-induced error."

Oh its been productive all right. Slashing budgets, encouraging pollution, throwing people off of Medicaid, etc...

I can see why the New York Times tries to make it difficult to cut and paste their web content. But it's obviously not working.

Why pay a writer $50 to for an op-ed when you can pay a typist $20 to crib it off the Times?

Well, there was that one day where he gave that speech, and managed not to look like a complete tit for almost twenty whole minutes. He managed to piss that all away before he left the podium, though.

The GOP seems to love using impactful verbiage (i.e. consequential, productive, etc.) not realizing they're not automatically positive words.

As someone who applied to write for Raw Story around 2005, I can confirm that they paid about $20.

He was a press secretary and used two adverbs in a single sentence. This means he lacks the language ability to come up with a strong enough verb to stand on its own.

Just how bad do things have to be when the block of Goldman Sachs execs in the administration are described as a left wing counter to Bannon?

Gary Cohn, the former Goldman Sachs executive who serves as the president's top economic policy adviser and who is decidedly more liberal than the rest of Mr. Trump's inner circle, is on the rise, and has the ear of the president's powerful son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Mr. Kushner also gained an ally on the National Security Council with the appointment of Dina Powell, a Republican and another former Goldman official who worked with Mr. Cohn, as a deputy for strategy.

The "self-lacerating" behavior has its fullest expression in Trump's refusal to back down from the wiretapping claims, despite "continued unabated despite rebukes from Republicans, denials by the congressional intelligence committees and complaints from the British government.

He's got less than three months to accomplish anything for his hundred-day checklist. So far, with all the infighting in his so-called cabinet, the lack of staff to actually get anything carried out, and the scrambling by his mouthpieces to constantly explain what he really meant, I'm not seeing much.

He's talked a lot about what he's GOING to do, and made a few token efforts to start a few things; but he can't even rally his own party to salvage their pathetic healthcare bill. Am I on track here? Is he doing ANYTHING besides making noise?

Well, he's wasted a farkload of taxpayer money (and pocketed a good chunk of it, no doubt) on his weekends in Florida and securing Trump Tower because Melania (understandably) doesn't want to be anywhere near the slimy little shiatgibbon.

He doesn't want the job, just the satisfaction of winning it.  He doesn't want the governing part just lining his pockets with money and connections and kickbacks.  It's incredibly inconvenient for him to be president, he wants to be king, or dictator...something like that.

Things will get..."interesting" when a national crisis happens.
