I'm a bit pedantic when it comes to people using the terms "burglary" and "robbery" interchangeably as TFA does here. They are different crimes. Burglary is illegal entry to a building with the intent to commit a crime. Robbery is more serious offence of taking or attempting to take something of value by force or the threat of force.

CSB:
We used to own a cabin in Virginia.  Was just a temp. place that already existed before my parents tore it down for a new permanent house.  Not much it, was meant as a weekend vacation type place in the woods.  Cheap furniture, basic kitchen, etc.

Some assholes broke it but cut themselves severely doing so (appears they punched out the windows on the front door to reach in).  Bled all over the damn place.

So. Burglary is B&E, and robbery is rottenest?

Yeah? Well my local Sheriff's Dept. lost a suspect out here.
In the barren desert
In the snow
At night

That's why I do give our local cops a little bit of a break, a fugitive has plenty of abandoned houses to hide in.  The last chase they had in my neighborhood, the car thief ran on foot into an abandoned trailer park.  I knew they didn't have a chance of finding that guy.  It's when they don't make an effort, it bothers me that we pay them.
