Where can I get one of those? Asking for a friend.

Okay, Shia LeBouef isn't a great actor. He might not necessarily be a nice guy in person, I don't know. But I've never seen a single news article in which he tried to hurt someone, or said anti-gay or anti-trans or racist crap. He just seems like someone that got thrust into fame because of a good audition, and is trying to manage that.

I just can't find any reason to hate him. He's like the Nickleback of actors. Okay, he's not that good, but does he really deserve hate, or just derision?

Oh look, people going on private property to steal something because they disagree with the speech.
I'm sure they don't complain about their freedom of speech being limited when they're banned off of other people's private sites, though.

I'm more inclined to think they did it because The Beef didn't want them to, and they're assholes. Not because they necessarily disagreed with anything.

Two things really bug me about that article: First, the use of 'anachronistic' to describe 4chan. Maybe, I guess? But I'm pretty sure they meant 'anarchistic'. Second, in the last paragraph, the use of 'astrological' when they meant 'astronomical'. Sigh.

I'm... not going to comment on that. Obviously, hitting a woman is not cool. The third-party stuff says she attacked him first, but he still could have called the cops. So could she. Without an actual police report, I really don't know what to think.

A German tabloid is your source for the black eye, btw.  I'm not familiar with the source myself, but I think I can wager a guess as to how much faith anyone should put into it.  Their web page shows up completely blank for me.

Me?

Without 1/100th of his platform, I've helped. I vote in every election. I am election official. I call my elected representatives often. I donate to the ACLU.  I spell things correctly on the internet and discuss issues using small words and easily digestible sound bites.

I convinced a number of New Hampshire voters not to vote for Trump.

Pretty sure they went on private property to steal something because LeBouef essentially issued an open challenge to the internet of the "this ship is unsinkable"/"even god could not prevent this tower from reaching the heavens" variety.  And then garnished it by being extremely supercilious about telling his inferiors what political opinions they were supposed to have, which he apparently thinks he can do because he lucked into extreme wealth without actually doing anything of real lasting value to earn it.

Admittedly he can't necessarily do anything about most of the second bit at this point, but it still makes him a legitimate target for non-harmful pranks of the 'take him down a peg' variety regardless.

If the art show was a private event then farking with it was probably crossing the line a bit, but the flag thing?  That's just pure, 100% uncut hilarity.

I've said shiat.  Bfs of mine have said shiat.  We've said shiat to each other at the same time!  Heck, I once witnessed a coworker say to another coworker "I'LL KILL YOU!", then they were all ok 20 minutes later.  Saying shiat doesn't equate to a tabloid's claims that Shia struck a woman.  Was he right to say that stuff?  Probably not, but saying stuff doesn't make him a woman beater.
