Nice. And if anything, I just like Rollins; he's one of my lifelong inspirations how to live life, alongside Hunter Thompson and Tadao Ando.

/His appearance in the Joe Rogan Experience is amazing

My brown brother years ago I was dating a very uptight white girl and my parents gave us a trip to Aspen, Colorado.

She was scared to fly so she had grip tighter on my arm than the Terminator on Sarah Connors leg.

On the plane she was freaked out because there was a crazy looking guy behind us.  I turned around and it was Gregg Allman.  I introduced myself, he was shiat faced(this being 1993) and he was cordial and told me he was opening at the new Planet Hollywood and gave us passes as an engagement present.

So we post up that night and we are seated at a table with Hunter S Thompson and Chuck Norris.  Chuck was cool, bought us drinks.  And Thompson was swilling scotch, while wearing a gold lame cowboy onsie with a matching stetson.

I am half in the bag, sitting in between chuck and thompson, feeling on top of the world. And she says "If we leave now, we can get it on".  I said "I will meet you back at the condo."

I could have gotten laid anytime, but sharing a table with farking Thompson, listening to Greg Allman, with Thompson and ragging on Norris.  Once in a farking life time.

I think when the words "Iggy Pop" and "broke out" are in the same sentence, your first instinct is to see a doctor.

Dude, Iggy Pop is a musician, not a chest burster.

These are not mutually exclusive.

Congratulations.  You just managed to put together a posting that's more interesting than the article.

Like I'd believe anything Henry Rollins has to say, he's such a liar.

Seeing him was a bucket list item for me. Mrs. Ryans Privates got us tickets see his show last year.  He is as amazing in person as he is when you see him.  He spent a good chunk of his show talking about his friendship with Ru Paul.  Now, I'm not a Ru Paul fan, but the fact the Henry and Ru Paul are friends made me rethink that.

I have tons of respect for Hank. He is very intelligent, an original bad ass and leads a life I only dream of leading.  He put himself out there and has the scars to prove it. He's a great interview too. My wife finds him very attractive.
But dammit, outside of Liar, and maybe his cover of Do It by the Pink Fairies, I hate nearly all of his musical stuff.  Black Flag without HR>Black Flag with HR

To me, I like Black Flag stuff with Rollins like My War and Slip It In, but I don't like to hear him singing the stuff that was recorded before he was in the band like the material on the First Four Years album.

it was the late 70's and me and a bunch of my 19/20 yo buddies decided to road trip to boston to get out of the podunk town we lived in.  at the hotel I asked the doorman where's the hopping clubs in this town and he goes, you want fun?  go hit up this place called the Channel club.  we go there and are clueless what punk was and there was this band called black flag playing.  OMG what a blast, one of the most entertaining shows I have ever seen.  I was off the corner of the stage and guys would jump on stage, do their little jig, and do back flips into the pit with army boots on.  what a hoot!  Go to the bathroom and guys are washing blood off their faces laughing about it...aaahhh the good old days....
