It's funny how these European groups are introduced to America, they become a hit. Maybe they have one song do well in America or maybe they even have two or three albums. Then 10-20 years later I find out they still are making music and are still making "hits", it's just that they're hits in Europe.

Not saying it means less, or that it means they've slipped into obscurity. It's more an opinion on how America digests their music.

Forgot to add - knew the girl in the video I linked, who also made the video.  Saw LLK open for Ministry back in 2003.

Personally I prefer Lacuna Coil's cover of Lacuna Coil over Susan Boyle's.

I like Matt Good's version best, but it doesn't seem to be on YouTube.

On a side note, I had no idea that Rammstein was only covering Stripped.  I guess I should have guessed because it was in English.  Probably why it was so popular, too.

This one is (barely) the best one.  Beats out "Hurt" just by the mood I'm currently in.

Finger Eleven is one of my favorite bands, and that song is a close second, but I've always been partial to Manson's cover of Personal Jesus more than anything on that list.

Some band trying to be a crossover between Marilyn Manson and Electric Hellfire Club. Cute.

There is an album called "I Sometime Wish I Were Famous" which has a lot of really good covers. Most are Swedish Industrial like Cat Rapes Dog.

Very good album.  Highly recommended.

I'll probably get some hate for this, but I always thought most all of Manson's covers were pretty good. I'm partial to his Tainted Love cover.

Some of this is related to an easy phenomenon:

1. Europe loves techno, and hates hip-hop.
2. America loves hip-hop, and hates techno.
3. This is because Europeans are racist.

That explains much of the divide.
