Is this because Nikes are made in Vietnam and no longer in China?

Trump will bring the shoe making jobs back.

Or people could choose to buy products made (or assembled) in their own 1st world country.   Shoes like the MT610v2 that I am wearing right now.  These are amazingly inexpensive for NB shoes made in the US.  fark Nike.  When I see someone lamenting the fact nothing is made here any more and the dillweed is wearing Nike shoes...

What about these I bought from Lin the unfriendly neighborhood gas station clerk.  We would NOT budge on the price.  I wore them just for walking to mailbox and the lasted 2 days.  They only ran 10$ but still.

When the Chinese consumer products / consumer protections watchdogs are calling out US companies for shoddy crap and ripping off consumers, we truly have entered bizarro world.

FTFA : "staff had admitted there were no so-called Zoon Air sole cushions inside the premium shoes"

I would've thought the Zoon Air soles were part of the problem.. Or were they supposed to be Zoon Ayre?

Nike, like Ducati, Ferrari, Izod, Tiffany, and the rest, is a lifestyle brand - you buy Nike for the social cachet, not the shoes.

/Nike used to be my only option for decent-fitting shoes
//then they started charging triple-digits
///good thing locals always have hookups to the employee store...
