Not sure if it's better than "Ten Craic Commandments" or "Jaysis Walks".

The only thing Irish about that song is that it was performed by Irish guys. It was written and produced by Soul Assassins.

December 1992, at a house party, Shamrocks and Shenanigans comes on, and i start singing along. kid at the party looks at me and says *you know the words?* i say *yeah?* He looks at me all sorts of confused, *but, you're a girl*.. i look down at my chest, *uh, yeah* and continue to sing along leaving him completely bewildered. totally worth it.

Quite a bit of that album was pumped through my homie's Jeep Grand Cherokee back in the early 90s. He had two 15 inch Kickers in a custom box, some crazy top dollar amp (his parents were loaded), and he'd make the entire Greenville Spartanburg Anderson Tri-County area jump around.

I was disappointed when I realized he was actually saying "Trying to play me out like as if my name was Sega".  I thought he was talking about Seka, the 80's adult film star.  Who was also pretty played out by then.

Has anyone finally settled once and for all whether the sample in that song is the trumpet from Jr. Walker's "Shoot Your Shot" or Prince's scream in the beginning of "Gett Off?"

It's not news, it's Newsweek

And at the end....."Then we got the smoking gun: Everlast broke his silence in a tweet to Questlove. "there is absolutely no prince sample in jump around," the rapper tweeted. That ought to clear it up."

The student section in the early 90s before Barry turned it around was a blast.  I think student season passes were 20 or 40 bucks.

Why a sigh for Everlast? You do realize he's in La Coka Nostra, right? Sure he mellowed out on his solo stuff after all his issues and heart attack, but he's still got it.
