What an odd article on an odd website.  It just stepped the 'its not news' game up.

Was there anything wrong with the traditional "Duke sucks" headline?

There are far more hate-worthy kids than this player of seemingky determined height.

Seriously weird "article," and even stranger headline.  Has Fark gone bot?

So now there's hipster Duke haters who think Grayson Allen is too mainstream to hate on? Duke certainly does suck, but I don't get it.

I loved that documentary.  It reminded my why of why I hated Christian Laettner.  My wife came in the room and asked "Why are you yelling at the TV?"

Didn't like him either, but F#CK, he was way tougher than he looked, played defense, rebounded, passed, and was money with the ball late in the game.

Who invented the rule that white players have to be compared to other white players?

I mean, sometimes the shoe fits, like fellow lefty Chris Mullin. But you're reaching waaaaay back to come up with Jim Paxson.

Laettner was not Greyson level douche-ness and was a serious college baller.  This Kennard kid can drain them from all over the court.  He is the type of guy that can bury your team in the tournament if he is hot and your guys can't keep him away from the ball.

As the 2017 NCAA Tournament begins, Las Vegas has Duke with the best odds (6-1) to win.

I've always had a theory that the hottest teams coming in are destined to struggle. It takes a lot of energy to make that late-season push and win the conference tournament. I have a thing for teams that disappointed in their conference tournaments. I have Kansas to win it all. I also like Purdue, though they have a tough road with the aforementioned Kansas in the way. I'm not particularly a Duke hater, but I have them going out slightly early against my darkhorse, SMU. I have Michigan losing in the first round as well. (See also: Seton Hall, 2016, beating Villanova in the Big East final and then laying an egg as a #6 seed against #11 Gonzaga in the first round in Denver.) Just a little pet theory of mine that I've never tested.
