No Cave Dwellers?

Well, they're missing War of the Colossal Beast - not for the movie but for Mr. B Nautral.  And no Overdrawn at the Memory Bank or Warrior of the Lost World.  But those are pretty good selections.

/Hey...guys....Manos....the hands of fate...

There's actually a couple I haven't seen. Good to see Warwilf in there.

MST3k trifecta in play.

No "This Island Earth"?!

I needs me some big foreheads, interocitors, and MUTANTS!

Hoooobgoblins, hoooobgoblins, what do you do with those hoooobgoblins?

PirateKing: No Cave Dwellers?

On a related note, Rifftrax recently released the first movie in that series "Ator, The Fighting Eagle".  Worth a watch if you get the chance.

(Copypasta'ed from the other MST3K thread today, since its fits much better here)

Comet TV is showing MST3K on Sunday nights, but they only have the rights to like 10 of them (although
that does include a couple of CC season 1s, including ROBOT HOLOCAUST).

The downside, though, is that they load them down with commercials (making a DVR a requirement) and
make odd bleeps & edits of the dialog.  But, hey:  it's better than nothing.

Until they released that, I had no idea Cave Dwellers was part of a franchise.  That weird clip sequence at the beginning makes a bit more sense if it was referencing the previous movie.

Damn, a day late.  Would have been great to binge watch while at home yesterday for the "blizzard".

Of course, they're almost all easy to find on Youtube, but this is still nice.

No Final Sacrifice?

2017-03-15 11:14:46 AM
They already had a few of these on Amazon.  Plus Rifftrax.

And Hulu has Cinematic Titanic.

Needs more Gamera.

Cinematic Titanic was pulled off of Hulu to my great dismay since the dvd's are out of print and the ones on ebay are ridiculously expensive.

Hulu's got that one.

It's not, actually. The intro scenes are from an entirely different film series.

The long rambling summary by the scientist to his daughter is the recap of the first film.

That summary is what I was thinking of.  I'd actually managed to block out that bizarre-ass "forest battle silhouette opening credits" weirdness.

That list is strangely devoid of three of the best

- The Beatniks
- Attack of the Eye Creatures
- Mitchell.

But I'll still watch the hell outta what is there, regardless.

Pluto TV has a MST3K channel. All MST3K, all the time. Don't know how many eps to which they have access, though.

I've heard that, but I am still a bit of a grognard, and Comet TV seems to have a reasonable coverage on
various regional digital broadcast outlets on upper tier channels.

That has to be one of the best horrifying children's movies of all time. OF ALL TIME!

Not nearly as bad as that Mexican Santa Claus one though. Glad I didn't see that one as a kid.

To be fair, I like the Rifftrax Live version of SCCTM better. Though I'm just happy that there's MSt3K, the Mads, and Rifftrax all going on at the same time right now.

By the way, this website is a pretty good index of online MST3K episodes.

Most of them work, anyway.

Best MST3K episode is as subjective as best ice cream flavor, but the lack of "Mitchell" is disturbing.  Still, a good time will be had.  Pretty sure I haven't seen a couple of these.  Even if I have I'll still watch them.

Manos and Space Mutiny make me a happy man, also good to see Spider Island on there only for the nostalgia factor. Pretty sure that one was my first introduction to MST3K by my dad many years ago.

Comet TV is supposed to add more episodes soon. Hopefully after they move to a bigger station with a better signal here.

The Trumpy scenes in Pod People have to be some of my all time favorite MST bits. They're insane nightmare fuel but with a lighthearted Mary Poppins tone.

You can definitely see which parts were made before ET and which scenes were redone as a cash-grab.  Merlin's Shop of Magical Wonders did the same thing, but at least that one limited the changes to creating a new frame tale.  Pod People changed the structure of the movie itself.
