I'm sure there will be more this coming week, once redacted copies of certain phone call transcripts are revealed, including those gathered from Trump's own phone.

How much anyone willing to bet there are calls between Trump and Flynn that specifically tie Trump to Flynn's actions and directing him pre-election to tell the Russian ambassador that the sanctions will be lifted if he wins.

I don't understand the problem? It's what Trump does, he makes deals, incredible deals. He's a business man who makes deals. It was just a deal with Russians, who he has never spoken to and has no business with and no loans. Except for those calls to Russia as POTUS. But now he can't make a deal because of the lying media. It's all the media's fault. By the way did you see how big his electoral victory was? It was huge, the media won't tell you that.

I think this whole thing is going to snowball quickly.  Politicians, by nature (if not definition), are self serving.  As soon as it's not prudent to back Trump, they'll run for the hills.  It only takes a few to get the ball rolling.

In 2006, Mr. Freedom Fries was the first Congressional Republican to say that the Iraq War was a mistake.

The thing about Jones is, nobody in the GOP caucus likes him, because he's too independent (shocking, I know).  So as a liberal, he occasionally will be the first to sign on to a reasonable bill, but that's a sure sign the bill won't get any further biparisan support.

It looks like a few of them are starting to get nervous that Trump's victory might not have been because the country was super excited about MAGA! but more because a LOT of folks hated Hillary.

Thank to gerrymandering a lot of them are also in districts that wouldn't take too much to swing in 2018, and are probably pretty nervous about the angry town halls and constant calls from irate constituents.

But...America's Greatest PresidentTM Donald Trump has always been president.

We are happy to announce that chocolate rations have been increased to 20 grams per week.

In his daily fireside Tweet, President Trump wishes to say "You're Welcome" for solving California's drought, capturing Charles Manson, and for discovering radium.

Investigation will start on the first of Nevertember, followed shortly by the impeachment.

Let's get real. The government is captured by an entity that despises ethics. Even the Dubya administration was less evil than what we have now. They will never seriously investigate their own, never indict their own, never convict their own. The wheels are coming off of this country and there's no stopping it.

Forgive my ignorance but I've read of independent vs. internal investigations and I don't really understand the implications of either so I'm not sure which to believe is better. What happens when you don't trust anyone anymore?

If you want to support Senator Warren's request to audit President Trump's finances for conflicts of interest, the Government Accountability Office says that the most effective way to be sure your support counts is to email two administrators, Katherine Siggerud and Timothy Minnelli -- and a third email address through which they're tracking people who are urging support for the audit.

Send ONE email addressed to: siggerudk[nospam-﹫-backwards]oag*gov, minnellit[nospam-﹫-backwards]oag*gov, congrel[nospam-﹫-backwards]oag*gov

Subject line: Re: Audit for President Trump's financial concerns

Dear Ms. Siggerud and Mr. Minnelli,
I'm writing in support of Senator Elizabeth Warren's request for an audit of President Trump's finances, to prohibit conflicts of interest that would prevent him from carrying out the responsibilities of the office without corrupt influence.

Sincerely,
(Your name, city & state)
