*Sigh* There's always one isn't there?

*tip toes out of thread with "END IS NIGH' sign tucked under coat*

Does this mean the cat/rat hybrids at the end of TFA aren't real either? I so want them to be a thing!

The one thing I learned during my Australian travels is that they make up animals in each new town you visit -- sometimes just for you.

Like qwolls.

No way are qwolls real.

A STRANGE "half-cat half-kangaroo" has baffled conversationalists after it was caught on camera lurking about the Australian bush.

Repeated attempts to make small talk with the creature have been unsuccessful.

Feline it is and I would agree on the Sphynx cat  except its coat is almost to smooth, so maybe a
mix breed of another smooth coat cat.  As for the roo part no way, most if not all "roo" type animals
can not move there hind legs independently.

/ I still believe that drop bears exist.

That's what I thought, but it is somewhat more elongated so don't quote me.

upload.wikimedia.orgGoodfellow's tree kangaroo.

This looks a bit more like the night photos although I am not positive, but given several species, one of them is likely to be the correct solution to the mystery. There might be some ground marsupials in the running as well.
