(ABC News)   House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz says he "won't be a cheerleader for Donald Trump." Mostly because he's seen how Donald Trump reacts to anyone who is dressed like a cheerleader   ( abcnews.go.com) divider line

Looks like we're getting 4 more years of investigations into Clinton's e-mail.

Nice cover, if you can get it.

I was told they were only investigating her and not the other Secretaries because she was running for President.  Now that that thin veneer has been removed are they going to expand the probe to include people like Colin Powel?

2020 will bring a new mortal enemy, and it won't be a Clinton for a change.  Keeping the Clinton thing going would just distract from the hubbub.

Chaffetz and his powerful committee has a broad mandate

Whoa, dude! You can't be calling Hillary a "broad". Biatches hate being called that.

Haha, oh you. The Republicans have seen how well the anti-Clinton tactics work. They'll make sure to tie whatever they can to the next person, regardless of truth, and name them "the next Clinton" or "Clinton ally" or "Clinton-esque." There's hate in left in them mines, and by God the Republican will wring out every last bit they can. I expect to see the Clinton label be applied to every Senate and House nominee in 2018.

I doubt it. After 2000 not a word was heard again about Monica Lewinsky except from a few obsessives.

Hillary's retiring from public life and is no longer a real threat to the GOP. They'll be too busy containing their own scandals to waste time on her.

"If you're going to run and try to become the president of the United States, you're going to have to open up your kimono and show everything, your tax returns, your medical records," [Chaffetz] said to CNN.

"You're just going to have to do that; it's too important. So both candidates, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, should show both their medical records and tax returns, absolutely."

"I'm out. I can no longer in good conscience endorse this person for president,"
I will not defend or endorse @realDonaldTrump, but I am voting for him.

He won't be a cheerleader, but he'll stand up to loudly support Trump and encourage other people to do the same.  He might even give a little flash of his underwear.

Not to mention any "open" hearing(s) would allow the Ranking Member to hold forth on the Chairman's leaking Comey's "heads up" to the Chairman re: Carlos Danger, that, on receipt from the FBI director, he promptly fed to media.  The Ranking Member would no doubt also reference Chaffetz's lying (into late October) about Hilldawg's server being hacked/sending/possessing classified emails - both charges, according to Comey's own answers during the July `16 hearing, weren't supported by any OBJECTIVE evidence (watch the hearing - it's on cspan - blow through the Director's "lecture" on ethics and go to Q&A).

As a Farker mentioned, upthread, all 535 members of Congress still have no meaningful constraints on reliance on Private Servers.  Classified material on their unsecured setups? Who the F*ck knows.  Maybe another Hilldawg hearing will focus the Chairman's attention on encouraging a colleague to write legislation limiting this Legislative Branch from presenting such a large target?  Nah, was attempted back in the days of the PC junior ("don't f*ck with our patch!).

I think you're right, Chaffetz is searching out just one last feather fragment, falling from the rafters, but the only Lost Cause is the one tweeting greatly.  Jason is going to be focused on the first hundred days of Legislative fleecing.

Why the continued investigation? Even if you genuinely believe that Hillary Clinton committed a crime, the FBI already said that there wasn't anything actionable found in Weiner's computer or her private server.

Review of the Fast and Furious operation would seem to have more validity, but in that case I can't wonder why they didn't question her about that sooner.

2-4 years of investigations of the corrupt Obama Administration's manipulation of science to support the global warming hoax.  2-4 years of investigating the theft of the 2012 election by Obama and his illegals.  2-4 years of investigating Obama's abuse of executive orders.  Etc.

There is bigly investigating to do.

I learn something new everyday.

1) TIL that liberals forced voters to pull the lever for Trump.

2) TIL that Trump voters are unable to make decisions on their own and have to be told how to vote.

3) TIL that Trump voters are no longer responsible for their own actions.
