Science is invested heavily in Gym futures

3 times a week is optimal.  combine aerobic and weight training 3 times a week.  that way you don't have to work out 6 days a week each for aerobic and for weights.

That is what I try to do. I try to go at least three times a week by lifting weights and then 50 minutes of cardio afterwards. I am in better shape then when I started in April but I am not near anywhere that is considered a bodybuilder physique.

Damn you PA Farm Show food, ruining all of my good work.

In my defense, 9 inches of snow and the flu makes it difficult to get to the gym.

Work out every time it stops hurting.

If you're not hurting 2 days after you worked out, work out harder.

Flu aside, power blocks solved my issues with dragging my ass outside every morning. fark the gym.

The term "weekend warrior" to me refers to the gym folks who think they can drink as hard as I do Monday through Friday.

Yeah, that's me. I'm not even starting my New Year's fitness goals until it gets warm enough to do 'em. Unusually cold where I am, this year.

Gym? I am starting two new workout facilities: one is just sex, the other is just farming (human power; may include logging and construction).

Please pay me to fark and grow my crops. You will lose weight. I guarantee it or go fark yourself.

Shortly after New Year's I discovered something called "Cookie Butter".

Never have made resolutions in 37 years, until this year.   I stopped drinking any calories.   I've been sticking to it and get more active.  It's been difficult but I already can tell a difference.

There should be a scientific website that only publishes articles that reinforce my philosophy that drinking too much and leading a sedentary lifestyle are actually good for me. Like a science Breitbart for slobs.

Breitbart works because the lies are satisfying enough people want to believe, but painful that the consumers don't realize they are in a fake reality. Even most woowoo medicine and diet nonsense have something bitter to them.

Like the matrix. Otherwise I like your idea.

Luxury. Our gym was in a live volcano.

My new years resolution is to enter the neighborhood chili cookoff this november.  I have nearly a whole year before I can assess if I keep it or not.

now I have an excuse to 'practice' my chili receipes for the year.

I resolved many years ago not to make new years resolutions. Flawless record ever since.

Didn't do any resolutions this year. However I did decide to switch fully over to vaping. Haven't had a cigarette in a little over a week.

You don't need a gym membership to get a good cardio workout every day. Ride your bicycle. And if you ride to work and back, it's almost no time out of your day if you live closer than ten miles and have to sit in lousy traffic anyway.

And it's fun. I like to believe that most people who act rudely toward cyclists for no particular reason are just jealous the cyclists are having fun on the way to work and they're not.

Me too. It was the easiest resolution I ever made.

This.

When my commute was 6 miles, I lost 85 pounds.
Now that it's 16, I'm putting them back on.

I kind of like not being run down by New Englanders passing on the shoulder.
