Actually I decided that 2016 was the last year for stringing lights on the gutters.
No reason for an old guy to be up on a ladder 10 feet over a cement driveway.

How about an FSM statue next year?

People get kinda freaked out about a pentagram, but who's gonna complain about a noodly homage to the one true-ish god?

Well, maybe the Atkins folks.

That's because you troll to not have a point, he trolls to point out that freedom of speech and religion means all viewpoints and not just Judeo-Christian centric religious beliefs (and with the people who promote these "We must put nativity scenes in every public place" ideals, they don't seem to care much about the Judeo part). If you troll people to point out their hypocrisy, then it's a worthy troll, if you just troll for attention then you're acting as a douche.

Pointing out people's bad arguments, lies, and general ignorance is a point.

The nativity stuff is cultural stuff done for decades of not centuries. shiatting all over it because you don't like it is being an asshole.

It's interesting that the display brought out the worst in people, what was already part of their nature in fact.

"Shaitting all over" nativities being displayed in public, taxpayer funded places isn't about "not liking it"; it's about the fact that churches are using public land to promote their religion, something our Constitution doesn't find legal. Christians have their own churches and/or own private homes to put up nativity and other religious displays all they want, yet that isn't enough and instead they want publicly owned land (owned by everyone, many of whom aren't Christian) to promote their beliefs as well. If you can't see that simple fact, than you're not a troll, you're just simply hoping that your beliefs get promoted in public forums against the law.

Just hang it up.  Thee people follow a 2000 year old cult that was adopted by the Roman government in it's failing days and then forced everyone to follow that cult until the government crumbled.....and the cult ... I mean church leaders, took over governance of the 'known' world.

In his eyes the whole world should follow the rules of his sky-god or fear the punishment of his earth core demon.  Never forget the VERY FIRST BOOK of this cult is "Don't think or I'll kick you out of the park and force you to die."  Critical thinking is discouraged from the day the magic speaking man sprinkles water on a baby or dunks it in the bacteria ridden tub.

Annie Laurie Gaylor, the co-president of the Madison, Wis.-based group, describes the nativity scene it plans to put up as "charming and whimsical, showing the Founding Fathers and the Statue of Liberty, standing in front of a manger, gazing adoringly at the Bill of Rights instead of a baby."

City spokeswoman Chrissy Gibson said the city doesn't have any plans to change the free-expression zone at the park, situated at 72 N. Federal Highway.

City Deputy Mayor Michael Mullaugh said people are free to express what they want at the park as long as it's not political.

Uh...
