I live in the heart of Wawa (South Jersey across the bridge from Philly) land and don't know how these stores even still exist..  7-11 was all the rage when I was a kid, but at 39 I just see them as bacteria infested shiatholes that survive on scratch off lottery tickets

I was viewing this on my iPhone and went to swipe away the window or whatever, but actually clicked on commenter Jaime Erickson's profile, which apparently took me to Jaime Erickson's "disqus" feed or thread or whatever, and now I feel so depressed.

Oh, that's just nasty.

This is where I get in trouble, because there's a tiny voice inside me that tells me this could be awesome and yet my brain knows it will end up tasting like a sanitation worker's shoe sole and will likely leave me feeling like I ate a phosphorous grenade.

My butter and coconut oil blended coffee sounds pretty good in comparison.

Indeed. Some of us actually *like* the taste of janitorial footwear.

Pretty much what I came in here to post although the 7-11 version uses gravy instead of cheese, which sounds pretty disgusting. Also I would trust something prepared at any QT way before anything at a typical 7-11.

/Prefer the jalapeno sausage roll over the breakfast pizza

The Sunoco gas station/convenience store on Hillcrest Dr just outside of Cumberland has had a sausage gravy/bacon/egg breakfast pizza for years. When you're hauling a dead person to Baltimore at 0430, it hits the spot!

The Southland Corporation, the parent corporation of 7/11, needs to be burned to the ground. With everybody still inside.

A flaky biscuit crust pizza sounds pretty good to me. Gravy and sausage on top sounds good too.
Not from 7-11, but I will try to make this at home sometime.

I worked at a 7-11 when I was 18, for about 3 months. It was a boring job. The hot dogs were good when you make them fresh.

I'm not saying no one will eat it, just not for breakfast. More like a 3am case of the munchies meal.

As long as they sell, and they do sell a lot of their fast food offerings. Pull into a 7-11 and there's usually a couple parking spots occupied by ppl chowing down on that crap.

No you see, this is why these foods are so goodbad, because they are awesome, and taste great, but what your brain is telling you is that it IS a sanitation workers shoe sole, and will leave you with e coli or something... but damnit it tastes good.

It's the only ME office in the state. For some reason, Delaware has two.

Grew up in SE PA, now I am down in Annapolis. Tons of 7-11s down here and they're much cleaner than up there. We still have Wawa's but 7-11 isn't too bad and the 5.55 regular pizza isn't bad. Their stuff isn't too bad when your in the mood for something horrible for your body.

I don't know about this breakfast pizza thing, but I will say 7-11's regular pepperoni pizza surprised me.

I was expecting Mama Celeste-level of mediocrity when I got a free slice of pizza coupon; it was good enough when hot to recommend in a pinch (bar closing time, nothing else around, strapped for cash).

/still full from the deep dish pizza I had Monday night; that stuff tastes great but digestion takes forever

I grew up in NJ.  We did not have a thing called breakfast pizza.  Now I live in western NY.  I have breakfast pizza (from actual pizza places) almost once a week.  I do not know how I survived all those years without that deliciousness in my life.

That said, I still would not buy one from 7-11.

I guarantee she gives directions using fast food places.  "Go past the 2nd McDonalds, turn right at the Arby's, and it'll be across the street from Taco Bell next to Krispy Kreme".

Not sure what's wrong with that? All QTs have what basically mounts to a fast food restaurant built into them that do made to order meals.

Last time I was back in Nebraska, the local Casey's was giving away free samples of a breakfast pizza that  sounds a lot like this one.  It was D lishus.

The 7-11 by me is always adding new food items, including this pizza.  I can't bring myself to try it...

But I commend them for trying new things.  They may never be able to compete with Wawa or QuickCheck in terms of sammiches.  But at least they're trying something...

2017-01-11 07:44:47 AM
There is an all purpose party store across the street from one of the metro parks in my old stomping grounds.  Their breakfast pizza is worth the indigestion even if you aren't faded.  They do more of a traditional crust, breakfast meats, cheese, eggs and a white sauce if I recall correctly.  Now that I don't smoke weed I can't see myself getting a 7-11 breakfast pizza.

2017-01-11 07:45:46 AM
You people are so snobby, acting like you'd never eat a gas station breakfast pizza.

2017-01-11 07:46:02 AM
While I would not buy a breakfast pizza from anywhere, I've made breakfast pizza for years. Scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese, gravy, hash browns (cubed not shredded).  Par cook everything, including the crust, spread crust generously with all fixins, bake.

Feeds a crowed easily, and is NOMNOMNOMalicious.
