So noting that yes, time of day means you have to do weird things unless you want the one flight that leaves at 4:32 PM, if you're doing KC to ABQ with more than 1 layover, you're doing it wrong.

And, by the way, if one day you happen to wake up and find yourself in an existential quandary, full of loathing and self-doubt and wracked with the pain and isolation of your pitiful meaningless existence, at least you can take a small bit of comfort in knowing that somewhere out there in this crazy mixed-up universe of ours, there's still a little place called...

tnpir: What the hell is "Alburquerque"?

It's a fictional land, basically a non-setting if you will, a destination never reached. It was created by Mel Blanc. It quickly became a favorite of the Loony Toons cartoonists because they never had to actually draw it. So by extension it could literally be anything they needed it to be.

I think that one of the past Presidents (Ford, perhaps?) named a former atomic weapon test site in New Mexico as Albuquerque National Monument, just to keep overzealous developers from infringing on dangerous radioactive areas.

The name itself is a portmanteau of several indigenous words from different languages but with more of a Brythonic pronounciation. Roughly translated it means "man with a twig-sized penis."
