I made the mistake of clicking on one of the links and found myself in Hannity's Twitter feed. Dear lord, I need a shower. And I want those brain cells back.

Did anyone else notice Vince Vaughn steaming like a turd?

Trump picked a fight with a gold star family. I don't see why he would be shy about attacking the most heralded actress in the country over the last four decades. So I'm glad she had the guts to utilized the moment to speak out for others. I'm looking for athletes, who control billions and billions in revenue, to step up and follow suit.

As a side note; a person could do worse than to sit down and watch Michael Cimino's The Deer Hunter.

/Meryl Streep, Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken, John "Every-Movie-I-Was-Ever-In-Was-Nominated-For Best-Picture" Cazale, and John Savage.

Considering the shiatstorm her speech turned the live Globes thread into I expect this one to be full of rational, well-reasoned discussion.

Good gravy, fusillade762! What the hell would possess you to do that?! You've got a sub-4000 account number. You're a seasoned, tested, pixel-weary veteran. A stalwart. A perennial all-star. Maybe get yourself checked out just in case you've been taken against your will and replaced with an exact replica of yourself.

Even the best of us slip up on occasion. I once clicked on Michelle Malkin's shiatty blog because I didn't recognize the Fark logo. Live and learn, I guess.

Thank you, Hollywood Foreign Press. Just to pick up on what Hugh Laurie said: You and all of us in this room really belong to the most vilified segments in American society right now. Think about it: Hollywood, foreigners and the press.

Hahha, oh wow.

That's some red meat, right there

2017-01-09 06:42:29 AM
Hollywood thinks Hollywood is the most important place filled with the most important people.

They villify people who make tons of money while making tons of money pretending to be those people.

It's funny they cry out against a world where Donald Trump can be President, but it's really the same world that makes them wildly rich and privileged. A world where entertainment and celebrity are king.  Trump just took that to the obvious conclusion.

2017-01-09 06:43:50 AM
Trump is a moderate populist, policy-wise. If he weren't an ignorant, narcissistic blowhard, he'd make a decent President, I think.

So all these people coming out attacking him are taking a very bad approach to solving the "Trump" problem. They berate him and mock him, but all that does is galvanize him against whatever it is the attacker is for.

He's shown himself to be very susceptible to flattery, so instead of trying to fight him head on, why not use his narcissism to your advantage? Why would you drive him further away from your common ground by attacking?

I suppose it's cathartic to declare "not my President" or to repeat "Clownstick von farkface" ad nauseum, but in the end it gets you nothing.

"Weaken, if not outright dismantle, alliances we've had since the end of World War II, in favor of cozying up to a dictator" is a moderate, populist position?

Yep, we live in a country where pretending to be someone else or playing a chilren's game means you're set for life, while being a teacher means you can just scrape by, if you're lucky.

He's been pro-choice, pro-free trade, pro-gender acceptance as a private citizen.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-35066940

He may have branded himself in this election as a hardcore anti-immigration, anti-import, Christian, but his political history up to this point has been anything but.

Expect more of this going forward.  Why?  Because Donald Trump doesn't turn down from a fight and that's what everybody wants ol' horrorclown to do:  to react and give any slam against him the utmost attention.  And he will follow through each and every time.

The bizarre thing is that if he followed through with uniting the American public, he would be having the time of his life right now.  He would be getting the respect he desperately wants along with making a lot of friends.  Instead?  Every picture is an ugly one of him doing Butthole Mouth as everybody lines up to take a shot at him.  And it's never going to stop.  Donald Trump is a very weak and very bloated man, and he has pretty much declared war against everybody who doesn't kiss his ass.  This is a battle he will not win.  His name will be drawn through the mud, his family will be hated long after he shuffles off the mortal coil, and this isn't even getting to how he's bought off by the Russians because he had to finance his shiatty lifestyle through loans at the expense of his quickly vanishing dignity.

The only people I feel sorry for is the White House medical staff, because not only do they have to deal with possibly the ugliest person to win office, but they have to try to keep him alive for the next four years.

Reagan beat him by 36 years.

Really, though, it goes back to Lincoln. Actors have always injected themselves into geopolitics.
