anyone remember Kenny Rogers' Fried Chicken?

It was rotisserie cooked over a wood fire. The wood got to be a big cost for the franchises. Pretty good chicken, better than KFC fried. The corn muffins were good too.

/had a friend who worked at one

New products this spring include microwaveable bacon, sausage links and a line of bottled water from a Hohenwald spring called "White Lightning,"

Folks, just a little PSA: Don't drink any water from Hohenwald. Just trust me on this.

I don't care how old they are, I'd still like to have a go at Dolly's melons. I'd have to check them for ripeness. Many, many times.

Hahaha! The only product I have ever seen endorsed by George Jones is DOG FOOD. He's had his own brand of dog food for quite a few years now. I suppose sausage is the next logical step. :-P

'If George says it's good, then it's good, by George!'

I lived right down the street from the only Kenny Roger's Fried Chicken place in New York City.

Stuff was pretty good, too, but went out of business in only a year or two.

Force McCocken

I remember that Grapevine Mills Mall (near Dallas/Fort Worth Airport) used to have a Kenny Rogers restaurant--it was pretty good. Last time I was at that mall, though, it wasn't there anymore.
On an interesting note, I thought for a long time that Kenny Rogers' restaurant was just a Seinfeld thing. I didn't know until a few years ago that it really existed.
