The French-Canadian robbers surrendered without a struggle, no doubt.

Yeah, $100. And they argued as to how to split the loot. Wooha.

funny how people don't think to use their phone's key guard feature.

i have a friend who was trying to romance a long time female acquaintance. he called her, got her machine. later, he went biking with another person and after awhile... they take a break. my friend throws his backpack down, containing the cellphone he used to call the girl. the impact caused his phone to redial her number. she still isn't home but her digital answering machine picks up... and proceeds to record a 35 minute conversation between my friend and this other guy.

the topic: (you can see this coming can't you) her.

suffice to say that this friend never got very far with his female friend. since then, he switched to flip-up cell phones. i still get a kick out of reminding him of that day.

It is very hard to split $100 three ways. What do you do with that last penny?

"That's because the tape does not identify the male victim, who has not filed a complaint himself, Reid said."

Who was the guy he accidently called, had to be a friend or at least an aquaintance?

I think they were probably practicing for a play or something, you know those frolicking Canadians.

I'll bet they argued politely over it ;)

$100.00 CAN = $13.00 US

According to the posts from yesterday, crime only happens in the U.S. I guess they meant only the 'good' ones.

Jesus Christ there are so many things wrong with this story.
$100? WTF? The ski masks probably cost more than that for fark's sake.
Victim has not filed a complaint? Why the hell not? Dipshiat!

and btw, archibald, $100 CAN = $62.50 US

So what kind of reward do you think the "friend" got for turning in the 100 dollar thieves?

Guess the "lock keys" function on cell phones is good for something.
