These people are why driving in Florida is so much fun.

If you can't crash into the DMV on your driver's test and then pass, then the terrorists have already won!

I swear I was behind him on my way to work this morning

Yeah, but it's dangerous when elderly (or any) people get confused between the brake and the gas!

True story- relative of a friend (80 something woman) backing out of a parking space at a supermarket...

saw a little boy behind the car

hit what she thought was the brake

no more little boy.

The worst drivers: old people and people with the jebus fish stuck to the back of their car/minivan.

there ought to be a mandatory drivers test every 5 years or so in order to root out the old folks that can't drive for sh!t. I feel bad for them b/c some really need to get out and get groceries or prescriptions but they are horrible drivers. Or maybe they should have some driving restrictions. SOMETHING!

"Call this an unfair generalization if you must, but old people are no good at everything."

"The incident marked the third time the man failed his driving exam."

Shouldn't there be a limit as to how many times you can suck at taking a driver's test?

True story: My sister backed into a car in the parking lot as she and my Dad were leaving the DMV, the day she got her drivers license.

true story: I failed my first drivers test b/c I sped thru a school zone. and it wasn't even open.

I failed my first driver's test for not taking a right on red--I thought it was optional.

It is not so much the fact that a person is old. The problem lies in the way many people drive: As though they are alone.

People should be subject to license suspension if they are farked up drivers. Period.

A fairly easy way to spot people who can't drive worth a fark is to observe them in a supermarket pushing a grocery cart. The ones who leave their cart in the middle of the aisle while off searching for something, or who leave their cart next to someone else's cart, thereby blocking the aisle, probably drive the same way: Like an unconscious dolt. farking braindead zombies.

Not only should they lose their licence, but most likely they should be banned fomr the grocery store as well.

Ghoulish tourists in lower Manhattan should also be subject to summary execution for blocking the sidewalks on Broadway.

I'm in a bad mood today.

Lemme guess...he was the most promising student in the class.

all old people should be executed

He obviously didn't study hard enough.

Interesting analogy...

Woohoo, lets hear it for Victoria farkers!

City of the newlyweds and nearly-deads...

I have to laugh because I drove by that building to get to university every day for the last 5 years... And its where I got my license!

TrentTheThief: I know what you mean. I've been known to drop a comment like "I hope you don't drive like you steer that cart!"

I hate being behind 80-somethings in those big old Town Cars or OLDSmobiles...get a big old boat of a car and the thing's in my way because they're doing 15 in a 35 zone....

Reminds me of a parody I downloaded off LimeWire, called "I Can't Drive I'm 65." Parody of that Sammy Hagar song. I think it's performed by the Bob Rivers Comedy Group.

That's the exact DMV I went to to get my learner's permit, and the same one I'm going to in a few weeks to get my real license.

Right on red IS optional, it's just that many people think it's mandantory but then again they're the same ones who don't see the big sign that says "NO RIGHT TURN ON RED" and make the turn anyway.
2002-01-04 09:20:12 PM
Shrug. If I want to turn on a red, and a sign tells me not to, if there's no logical reason why turning is unsafe, I'll do it anyway. Modern civil engineering is paranoid.

Yet another reason why Canada sux

HAHA yeah i work right beside the building and heard the whole story. a girl was standing beside the car and it clipped her ankle, so that's one minor injury. i'm not sure of the other... but anyhow.
