Yeah!!!  Voted for this one because of BuzzBuzz!!!  If you don't know, Buzz is vision impaired, he has Juvenile Cataracts in both his eyes.  He can certainly see well enough to chase Desi but I've seen him miss plenty of jumps that he should have seen, especially if something has been moved from its normal position.  The Veterinary Ophthalmologist says it shouldn't get any worse but we're going to get him checked regularly.

Hey all! I put this link up last monday night thinking it was Sunday. Just in case folks didn't get a chance to see it, here it is again: A Boston Terrior can't go in the rain.

Wife had a Boston and swears she can almost see Bowzer doing this.

someone out there gets my thanks, please let me know who you are. My name is the same across several boards. Your gift of a $500 canon lens was awesome! (The attached note made it obvious a caturday person who also was on a photography blog). Please let me know who you are..... Three weeks until I can use a camera due to eye issues. THANK YOU!  Please let me know who you are...

a funny read on another blog
"I own a Maine coon. Half coon, half refrigerator, all fat"
And the one that had me in hysterics "my cat hates me taking a shower, she learned that flushing the toilet gets me out of the shower quickly".

Someone out there also gets my thanks for the 6months of TF! I know who you are, but I won't out you, just incase you prefer to remain quiet.  I very much appreciate your generosity.

I also very much appreciate all of you and your kindnesses last weekend when I was in distress.  I may not know you all really, but I was moved by your kind words.  Mister Station was sprung from the hospital on Wednesday evening after a very rugged 5 days (Well, two of those days were just waiting, because of dumb holiday weekend).  He had two cardiac catheterization procedures and 7 stents put in.  He's awfully sore and a bit cranky, but I guess that's to be expected.

Now, if I can get Photobucket to work with my adblock, I'll get to making use of this TF sponsorship and post photos....

Good evening! It has been hot and humid here this week. My students have been nuts! Yeesh.

Eli wanted out the front door. I told him no, there is no porch there now...he looked at me, turned around and walked through the kitchen to the side door...scary smart..

lilyspad: 7 stents?  Wow......I'm thinking he needs to do therapy as well?

There's a great cardiac therapy program that he's planning on going to do - hopefully it fits in his schedule.

exvaxman: 7 stents? oMG! Prayers to you....

Prayers to *him*!  :)  He has a very strong genetic propensity for heart problems.  The docs were surprised at the amount of blockage they found.  His normal BP, cholestorol, and not dire EKG at the ER didn't make them think they'd find what they did.

Oh, the things we do.....  Buttercup has a thing for SUPER fresh water.  He will sit in the tub and complain till you plug the stopper and run the water a few seconds and give him super fresh water to drink.

I can't believe we both do this for the damn cat.....

Eli demands water feom the bathroom sink. Same deal. Only now I have added a bowl on the floor that I fill from my deinking cup. Sometimes it is hard for the old dude to get yp to/ down from the sink pedestal.

Avoided the heart attack, but got 3 stents in 2003 and one more in 2006... followed the prescribed diet as directed and got the cholesterol down to 124 total..  last stress test / heart test was very good, and I am greatly aware of work limitations... I also learned how to say no to overexertion and those who suggested it..  that cute bartender gal at the brewery does raise the blood pressure, though....
