I hope they comb the area for more. Meanwhile, I'm going home to smash all my ceramic figures and coconuts.

That much heroin should last the Chinese police at least a few hours.

hidden in a beehive?

I wonder if former Arizona Governor Rose Mofford is wanted for questioning.

For those that don't know, Mofford had the tallest hair in politics for a time. She could have gone as Marge Simpson for halloween if she'd dyed it blue.

The funniest thing is that in China, the penalty for drugs is DEATH!

When questioned, Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue said "thank farking God, you guys found it!!"
2004-04-14 08:50:11 PM
I'd like to see what kind of honey they make with that.
Oh, and kudos on the headline.

Rose Mofford. I was expecting bigger hair.
2004-04-14 09:12:40 PM
Tsk. How low-tech. I was thinking the chinese had bees genetically engineered to produce heroin honey (honeyin?herony?). Where's the innovation? These are genetic modifications to insects I would approve of.

Tasty Honey Cannabis bees should be on someone's to do list.

That's what The Hive is for, isn't it? Synthesizing drugs?

Sounds like a sticky situation.

Is that Rose Mofford or Don Rickles?

at least the Taliban didn't let the opium fields thrive.

Great attempt at a flame war Petey.
2004-04-15 01:21:25 AM
You could get a real buzz off of that heroin!
2004-04-15 01:37:24 AM
No wonder the Colombians are broke, the sneaky Chinamen have bees making heroin for export -- who can compete with that kind of cheap labor?
2004-04-15 02:45:52 AM
Petey, don't drone on about GWB's letting the Horse out of the barn. The Taliban swarmed the DEA like the grifting fakirs they were. Sure, they made quite a show out of decreasing the cultivation of Papaver Somniferum. I can remember Barry McCaffrey (General and Boss Dope) lauding the efforts of the Bearded Menace, while they were actually driving up the price by spooning out dabs from their rather impressive stash. Guess who was racking up the profits - UBL.

If we were serious about helping out the Afghani farmers, we'd be buying up their harvest instead of letting warlords and worse get the green. However, now that the CIA is being reborn and rebooted I'll bet they'll be moving Miss White Powder for their own purposes; I doubt they'll be so crude as to pack it into the bodies of dead troopers for shipment (one of their stunts from the Saigon show).

Anyway, the Chinese fought a war with the British in order to keep the limey pushers from selling their Indian Opium to innocent `Chinee' (19th Century Pharmaceutical Imperialism-not as obvious as Smallpox blankets...), I expect the families of the the four arrestees will soon be getting a bill for the bullets...
