Will anyone care either way?  How well do these schools perform academically?

Cheesehead_Dave: "Will anyone remember that there's still one more college football game left to play?"

I will.

I'm an OU alumni. I'm a huge fan.

But when the playoff teams were announced by favorite team became "any team but 'Bama".

Ooooh...apparently there will be a broadcast of the came without announcers (game sounds) on ESPN-Classics.  I may tune in for that.

I forget which game it was this season, but I went onto the WatchESPN app and they had a feed with just the field sounds and a view from the cable cam. It was weirdly interesting and a bit disorienting watching what it did between plays.

Jeb Bush doesn't pick Nick Saban, so based on who runs his campaign...yeah I think I'm gonna go with Nick Saban.

Wow. I'd give that a shot. Especially the field sounds in lieu of the announcers.

I expect this will be an excellent game.

Looks like 'Bama is favored by 7 (or 6.5, depending on where you bet)

Dabo is from Alabama, played for Bama, and has a typically dumb Alabama name.

Bama has already dominated the night.

Is it me, or has there barely been any hype for this game?  Seems to me it was a mistake to play this game after the NFL playoffs started.  They should have played the semi-finals on Christmas eve and the Championship game on Jan 2nd.

Would you like a spray paint gun?  That 4 foot wide roller you're painting with seems a little small.

I'm just hoping for good football. Ideally, Alabama loses on a botched place kick of some kind because I don't think Nick Saban's actually recruited a kicker, uh, ever, and I like watching him get all red-faced and shouty on the sideline. As a lifelong Hokies fan, I'm also vaguely pulling for a non-FSU ACC team to smack the SEC around a little bit.
