That's funny, subby, but I'm not my cat's slave, that's just....  Hmm? What's that, Bastet? Yes, ma'am, I'll get off the computer and get you the crunchy treats, yes. Thank you, ma'am.

Where was I?

Interesting... So there is a class action suit against them, but from TFA it seems the company is, and has been, actively trying to ensure that is there is slave labour in their supply chain for years, and is working to improve on their monitoring of the situation.

I'm not a lawyer, but wouldn't that there be enough reason to have this tossed?

I assume you mean 'actively trying to ensure that there is NO slave labour"...

Knowing Nestle's history, his original statement is possibly correct

Compared to giving new African mothers just enough free baby formula so that they stop lactating and have to continue to buy formula, not so evil.

Naw.  Cats have to work for their water like everyone else.

fark Nestle.

Isn't this the same company that believes we don't deserve cheap access to water?

My cat would happily consume the workers without having Nestle as a middleman.

If my wife ever purposely shiat on the floor I'd consider divorce, whereas when my cat does it I spend the rest of my day trying to figure out whats wrong in my cat's world and how to fix it.

Yep.  With Nestle, odds are they go out of their way to make sure they're using slave labor, and the fact that it's Nestle will be grounds enough for the lawsuit to be tossed.

Nestle, the tears of Asian slaves and child labor make our products sweeter than HFCS.

iPhones made with slave labor are still cool though, right?

I just need to know what outrages me this week.

It is utterly impossible to trace seafood through the Asian supply chain. Might as well try to determine if any water Nestle' bottles came from the south side of a particular mountain.

Look, do you want people to have jobs or not?
Suppose I didn't enslave these people, suppose I didn't put them to work doing something productive.
What do you suppose they would be doing?

Right, nothing.
Absorbing mass amounts of "aid" sent to them by others, but not actually doing anything.
