How was an expert not called on this?  If you're "allergic" to WiFi, you're allergic to anything that emits radio waves.

Wow.... she should go to Hollywood. She is one hell of an actor.

I think that article might be creatively written. The woman may claim her disability is wifi exposure but the disability allowance might be simply because she's unable to otherwise support herself.

Welfare doesn't necessarily care why you're on welfare.

You'ld take less than is required for basic human dignity if you had a psychosomatic illness (note: not "something you made up" but rather an illness with no discernable physical cause).. gotta call utter and total bullshiat on that on

I have a bad case of lazy.  Pay me.

/although, I'm not 100% against the government providing room and board to anyone, for any reason. But it needs to be accompanied by deregulation of industry and liberalization of labor laws (easy to hire and fire) to make for a more dynamic economy. Otherwise, it's a recipe of disaster.

I installed a wifi extender for a customer the other day, and he asked me if the wifi signal was gonna be dangerous to his kids. Mind you, he already had wifi signal throughout his house for years; I was just improving it for him. I told him no more dangerous than anything else that emits a radio frequency, and he accepted that. Some customers still don't accept it. "No no, I don't want the modem in my sons room, the wifi signal will be bad for him, it's unhealthy. Put it in the livingroom."

"The livingroom on the other side of your son's wall."

"Yes."

"You understand your son will still get wifi signal in his room?"

"Yes that's good, he needs the wifi to do homework."

How much would it cost to emigrate her to Green Banks, WV?

The travel is paid for in a single year.  I assume she'll require a diesel vehicle to get around and paperwork costs (visas etc).  Probably looking at a 5 year break even price.

I just have two things to say about "Wi-Fi Allergies":

1. BULLshiat

2. If that is the case, that these people have that kind of a condition, we owe it to future generations to sterilize these people (and any existing progeny) to ensure that such conditions are not propagated to the human race any further. Like, we're not going to get rid of our use of electromagnetic devices.

If she does in fact have a psychosomatic illness, and is not a fraud or just some idiot who reads too much naturalnews.com, then order her to receive some psychiatric treatment. Don't finance her delusions, treat them.

She didn't "make it up." In her mind, it's completely real. If that doesn't qualify her as disabled, I don't know what would. If you want to try to live on less than $800 a month, go right ahead. Bless you and good luck.

"... in her mind, it's completely real..."

Tumblrina-like typing detected...

There is a difference between genuine mental illness, and plain-vanilla stupidity or suggestability.

If the former, fund her treatment; if the latter, tell her to finance her own willful ignorance.

Do not enable either one.

If you wish to grant an extra 800-dollar-per-month stipend to every fool with a "gluten sensitivity", they can take it out of your taxes. And this is coming from a flaming liberal who thinks a guaranteed minimum income is a pretty good idea.

I'm on your side here, but "psychosomatic" does not mean "unreal". The mind really can you sick; it's a kind of placebo effect. In such a case, crazy-pants needs treatment or therapy, but it isn't fake, per se.
