2001-12-14 01:27:44 PM
hey wait, that's not real!

2001-12-14 01:35:31 PM
He-he-he-he
Close enough.
Missing Poll Answer: "I don't care how many people he kills, he's still a dick!" would have netted whopping 50%.

2001-12-14 01:37:08 PM
This was obviously made by liberal insurgents attempting to brainwash the population. Look! It's a peace sign!

yawn

Satire.

Almost funny as REAL.....

HAHAHA.. It's funny because it's true :)

Where's the "Still think he's a moron and isn't scared of seeming unpatriotic by saying so" catagory? I still fall under that one.

2001-12-14 02:31:17 PM
Isn't Satire supposed to be at least mildly amusing? Since they only came up with 4 different sections you'd think that one of them would be better than "voted for Gore." They couldn't of taken more than 5 minutes to put that together...

Where's the "Still think he's a moron and isn't scared of seeming unpatriotic by saying so" catagory?

Um, doesn't "Still think he's dumb, but too patriotic to say so" count? Is that close enough?

Quick1 - Should have been better worded to say "Still thinks he's a moron, and isn't too patriotic to say so."
The freakiest thing about Dubya's media turnaround is that no one remembers that the man is a few fries short of a happy meal. Before 9/11 is was common practice to mock the man because he still makes up words. (I would at least require my president to have a working understanding of the English language.) After 9/11? Apparently, he had a brain transplant. Unfortunately, the new definition of patriotism apparently means that no deflating of the President's ego or image is allowed. Fark that. He's an idiot.

Flame away, campers. I'm headed to a final and then driving 5 hours to home. ;)

Like we could dare match your high level of cleverness and deep insight.

Phillibuck:
I know, facing up to your own shortcomings is a painful thing. You have managed to do so with much grace, and for that you should be proud. Cheer up! There's always someone dumber than you, and they're generally in political office! (Or shoplifting in Beverly Hills hopped up on prescription drugs)

yer killin' me over here... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

2001-12-14 03:17:13 PM
by the way, you should get to yer final or you'll turn out dumb like the rest of us.

Too late by a long shot, Phillibuck.

Wooh! Another funny thing! This makes about three funny things I've seen about the 'war on terrorism'

compared to about 40 billion pieces of crap... but like I said, this is real good.

Like clinton handled his interns. ROFLMAO

Am I just drunk, or does it now suddenly say "I voted for Dukakis?"

?!

In another survey, 100% of terrorist hugging leftists promised to fight the Jihad until the US was destroyed.

2001-12-14 06:37:03 PM
Misinformant: It does say Dukakis. Are they getting father and son mixed up?

Hey, I'm an 80s child, and I didn't pay very close attention to the Bush Sr. administration. What was I, 2nd grader, during Desert Storm?

2001-12-14 06:39:33 PM
Something of note I saw today:

Shrubya, in a news conference with some Anti-Drug Coalition, compared drug dealers to the likes of terrorists.

Yeah, drug dealers are bad (mmmkay), BUT:

Dealing drugs is NOT the same as killing 3500 innocent people. Last I checked at least. It is asinine that someone can spend less time in jail for killing someone than for dealing drugs...

How does being a leftist make one a terrorist-hugger? I've never hugged a terrorist. Are you a fascist because you're right leaning? Does it make you a Hitler-lover?

Naderbot,

I'd be happy to answer that question.

The goals and beliefs of the liberals and leftist mirror those of the terrorist organizations. The only difference is that the terrorists aren't complete cowards.

Their agenda of pacifism, appeasement and anti-homeland safety clearly do nothing but help terrorism. They might as well be there at the airport to give them a hug when they show up in the country.

Fb- (finally, we meet)
Allow me to point out that so far, the FBI, etal, believe the U.S. anthrax mailer to be a right wing terrorist. Like those fundamentalist who bomb abortion clinics.

Terrorism is extremism on either side of the coin, whether its a tree-hugging bombardeer or Bible-tottin'one.

Per right wing, what about the capitalist system that allows huge corporations to routinely rip-off the public without impunity. Smells like terrorism to me.

You know it's satire and some of you are still confused by the Gore/Dukakis discrepancy?

2001-12-14 08:36:16 PM
Rebrane
Peace, peace, but there is no peace.

2001-12-14 09:15:23 PM
So the pacifist agenda that you claim both terrorists and liberals share was behind the attacks in NYC and DC that left thousands dead? Hmmm... mass murder doesn't seem to be very pacifist.

Prove the anti-homeland safety part for me. Give me an example of a liberal who has said, "I am against being safe. I want our country to be a dangerous place to live."

If there is logic behind your "arguments," your words provide no evidence.

2001-12-14 09:42:35 PM
Pursuant:
Nono, I GET it, I was just saying that it said "Gore" the first time I looked at it, but "Dukakis" the second.

It was as if they realized they needed to give it a comedy shot in the arm. It's funnier this way.

2001-12-14 10:17:45 PM
Hey, I'm just trying to get my history knowledge in order, here. When half of what you know of United States History comes from such comic strips as POGO and DOONESBURY, you begin to get desperate.

2001-12-15 08:23:35 AM
Now, that's funny. heheh

2001-12-15 12:59:19 PM

Anybody want to look through their cache and post the image of the original one before it was fiddled with?

"Still think he's a drunk, but too patriotic to say so." is a lot funnier. And you have to wonder why they changed it... And it doesn't even resemble a peace sign anymore...
