Mathnet was one of the greatest things to come out of the early 90s. The ones with Kate Monday in L.A. were clearly superior to the ones with Pat Tuesday in N.Y.C.

Still, this person has waaaay too much time on their hands...
2001-12-13 05:09:27 PM
Oh my God! This is exactly what I've spent my whole life looking for!!! </sarcasm>

Thermos-3-2-1 Contact was always stuck in the 70's or early 80's on my local PBS affiliate for some reason.Mathnet was deep, man, and had a wiggin plot.
2001-12-13 05:20:03 PM

There is a network called Noggin, that plays these old shows at night. They have "The Electric Company," "3-2-1 Contact," etc.

Check out "The Electric Comany's" cast.

Mathnet! Who remembers the two-parter Murder Mystery episodes that took place in that mansion in upstate NY called Wit's End? It was made to kinda be like the old Clue movie. Natrually, nobody was killed, they were all just put in a jail cell downstairs. That show was awesome. In fact, all of Square One was really entertaining. An excellent show. Our PBS station had Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego (none of this crappy-ass Where In Time garbage, no sir), an hour of hard-hitting edu-ma-cational TV.
2001-12-13 05:42:32 PM
I would skip school and watch Square One instead. I learned much more from that show than my crappy teachers.

Thanks, Mattix. Ahhhh, the blue suit. It reminds me of being bored out of my skull. Those were the days.
2001-12-13 05:46:38 PM
Thanks Kthulhu and Mattix for those updates! If you do an image search for "mathnet" on google, you'll find the image that Mattix put up as well as another one I think. Now I'm trying to find images/screen captures of Mathman, but that's turning out to be much harder. *grin* I especially remember those moments when Mathman got all excited when he figured out something and went "Woo-hoo!" Heh.
