Welcome Aboard Mr Laden!

2004-02-20 01:10:03 AM
Would hate to be the security agent if they found out that he's taken like 5 trips in and out of Washington in the past 2 years.

2004-02-20 01:12:19 AM
wich he will, because who else is gunna lead us into the apocalypse?

true.. but in fairness I'd rather be dead then be a cog in the welfare state the left wants to set up.

2004-02-20 01:18:08 AM
"Damn! We could have stopped Osama Bin Laden from flying if only his name had been on the no-fly list! Now the world is doomed, doomed!"

I'm pretty sure the administration would waste no time revealing that they had captured Bin Laden. I see no reason why revealing him now wouldn't be a sufficient enough boost to their standing. shiat, the earlier they could have shown him in manacles (or dead), the better they would look.

2004-02-20 01:19:57 AM
How about Harry Bin Laden thats the name he went by at Oxford

2004-02-20 01:37:21 AM
But it's not always those on the left who are being scrutinized. An Insight reporter ran into difficulty recently at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, where he was taken aside and questioned by law-enforcement officials

snip

The Insight man wants to know how he and other loyal Americans can get off the no-fly list.

see...cuz it's not really a problem until it's more than just 'those on the left' and dark skinned people getting targeted...and that those on the left are not loyal Americans.

I'm shocked..SHOCKED to find that there are right wing subtexts in a WND article.

Bush arranges for ALL the Bin Laden's to fly anywhere they want, without question. Even while the rest of America was grounded after 9/11.

Wally Bin Laden, however, is right out!

2004-02-20 02:01:40 AM
Big deal. AA flights 11 and 77 aren't listed in the Bureau of Transportation's database as having flown on September the 11th of 2001, either.

2004-02-20 02:01:55 AM
Really, why would he ever need to be on this list? Ohhh yes. I'm sure if he tries to board a plane airport security will just wave him through...

2004-02-20 02:06:56 AM
Let's hope Osama bin Laden doesn't know show tunes.

"God I hope I get it. I hope I get it! How many people does he need, how many boys, how many girls?"

2004-02-20 02:11:41 AM
He'll never do anything himself so not to worry. ^_^

HenryFords pig latin or star trek(tm)s treatment of metaphorical speach just cracks me up...then again, so the rhetorical speech of the new candidates. I'm still wondering why websters GIS brings up the wrong pages where as webster's brings up the page I'm looking for.

"The first CAPS program was the brainchild of the White House Commission on Aviation Safety and Security, better known as the "Gore Commission," because the former vice president chaired the panel. Its report directed the federal government to "consider aviation security as a national-security issue," and President Bill Clinton dumped $100 million into such efforts, helping to launch the first CAPS program in 1998, three years before 9-11."

oh yeah...
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=24840

at least glad gore endorsed a winner, no wait...

last - funny how no mention of the above 2 items in any posts, and no mention of who did not spend the money that was supposed to be spent, let along cut military spending - sad day for US soldiers when they are sent into battle without even being properly equiped...

Boy, you whiney-ass losers who complain "Bush flew the bin Laden family out of the country because Bush knew something". Waaaa-waaa! Yeah, he knew they'd probably be killed by some tin-foil hat-wearing douchebag with misguided rage. It's that same mentality that led to Japanese-Americans to be detained after Pearl Harbor.

I'm no Matlock here, and I'm not saying you should lock the family up, but it wouldn't hurt to ask them few questions. Do you know who G Bush Sr. was meeting with on 9-11?

BTW not everyone that's been locked up in Git-mo has been guilty.

Fair-enough, my friend, but
1. It's well known most of the family wants nothing to do with the lunatic.
2. The people being held at Gitmo may not be completely guilty, but they all likely share one thing in common with each other...they want Americans dead, and would love to help someone achieve that.

If someone wants to point fingers, they'll always be able to find something circumstantial or coincidental that can form the basis of a conspiracy. Me...I'll choose to accept facts. You find me someone who can prove the rest of the bin Ladens had anything to do with it. Then, I'll listen.

just for clarity -

Politics:
The often internally conflicting interrelationships among people in a society.

Usage Note: Politics, although plural in form, takes a singular verb when used to refer to the art or science of governing or to political science: Politics has been a concern of philosophers since Plato. But in its other senses politics can take either a singular or plural verb. Many other nouns that end in -ics behave similarly, and the user is advised to consult specific entries for precise information.

getting bin laden now wouldn't boost bush rating. finding WMD in Iraq, now that's something. He'll then can say "I told you". Then he'll get another term..

2004-02-20 03:41:21 AM
I would ask OBL if he was ashamed that the USA has now killed many more civilians in response to 9/11 than OBL did.

2004-02-20 03:45:23 AM
"Bin Laden does not appear on the FBI's "no-fly list"

But yet up until 9-11 the bin Laden name did appear on the Bush family's Christmas card list despite the bin Laden not being Christians. No wonder they hate America.

2004-02-20 03:50:20 AM
Why did we care about wmd..did we start caring so much because Bush brought it up?

I for one never thought for one second that Hussein would attack our soil even if he had 30 nukes. I figured that people running countries like to A) stay in power and B)stay alive to enjoy that power.

It's a big family, there are some members who still support him. Considering the 1000's that were locked up after 9-11 what's the big deal asking his family a few questions?

2. The people being held at Gitmo may not be completely guilty, but they all likely share one thing in common with each other...they want Americans dead, and would love to help someone achieve that.
Well some do and some share the fact that they have brown skin and happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time

Deep Hurting fyi that part has been removed from the episode, i don't think it's even on the dvd.

Damn you Deep Hurting! You beat me by.. uhm.. several hours.

Oh, puleeez! Does everything have to be automated?

Airline worker: The name Osama bin Laden is not in the security database, so I'll pretend I've never heard it before. [sticks fingers in ears] Lalalalalalala! I can't hear you! Lalalalalala!

Well, since people have been able to check in under the name "Osama bin Laden" to check the system, apparently it has to be in the database for the numbnuts in airport 'security' to notice.

2004-02-20 05:54:56 AM

You all realize that the guys walking around the airport with machine guns had empty clips.

They were there to look threatening. It would be too dangerous to give them a real weapon. Someone might have used it.

During the discussion, Stuber screamed out, "George Bush is as dumb as a rock," which prompted officers to bring in the Secret Service for further interrogation.

Sometimes I think loss of civil liberties is worth it, if we can have this kind of entertainment as a result.

Our last president couldn't even get a hummer in the privacy off his own office without making headlines, and yet Bush, whos supposedly much dumber, can pull off something like that?

Yes, he could. Not only does his party control all branches of government, but the white house also maintains an unprecedented grip on everything.

Plus, a lot more things are secret due to the war on terror (such as who wrote our energy bill behind closed doors in Cheney's office).

2004-02-20 07:21:59 AM
If this were Sicily, his family would have already been rounded up. While they may not have given him up, at least he'd die an orphan.

I can't say I'm opposed to the old ways in his case....

2004-02-20 07:23:00 AM
He's not on the list because he is too scared to "fight the devil America" himself and he isn't willing to die for the poop that flows from his mouth.

2004-02-20 07:32:03 AM
I think he just uses that winged camel Kaboobie from that old cartoon "Shazzan".

2004-02-20 08:10:13 AM
I'm not a member of the Tin-Foil Hat brigade by any means, but you just know that the Bush administration is waiting to truck him out at the most opportune time. That's why they haven't been concerned about Bush's dipping numbers.

Editor's note: WorldNetDaily is pleased to have a content-sharing agreement with Insight magazine, the bold Washington publication not afraid to ruffle establishment feathers.

Insight is owned by the Moonies. As a source of "information", I would rank Insight as equal to the $cientologists.

Tin-foil hatties who wanna say we didn't really capture Saddam are gonna have an awfully hard time convincing me. See, my girlfriend's teacher was there when they took him out of el spiderhole handcuffed, and he's got the pictures to prove it.

Now that moon landing...how many of your buddies were there for that?!

Any plane with O bin L on board is probably the safest in the air.

"Generals" are always well away from the action.

jamspoon, that's brilliant thinking.

Maybe Osama's not on The List because they know that
a) a plane with him on board is unlikely to be blown and

b) if he for some unkown reason decides to hop on a plane bound for the States, why stop him? Isn't better to apprehend him once his in within US territory? :)

Deep Hurting, Hello_Kthullu, nonexistent,
Which episode was that from?

2004-02-20 09:58:54 AM
Maybe it's because the official stance of the US government and of Usama in his own writings is that there's no "O" in his name.

2004-02-20 09:59:45 AM
maybe it's because he's on the CIA's payroll.

2004-02-20 10:09:52 AM
Maybe it's because it's real tough to fly when you're buried under a million tons of rock in Tora Bora.

2004-02-20 10:23:40 AM
This is news?

Heck, the entire bin Laden party posse was allowed to fly around on 9/11...

It's from the episode Road to Rhode Island; however, it has since been cut from both the DVD and the regularly aired episode. You can download the cut portion here:

"maybe it's because he's on the CIA's payroll."

Ya know, the US did put Sadaam Hussein in power a few years back...

I've heard that it's not what you know, nor whom you know, but what you know about whom...

2004-02-20 11:04:23 AM
Yeah. Why should he die for what he believes in? He will just have his arsehat followers give THEIR lives for what HE believes in.

It's been that way throughout history no matter what race or religion.
