Dunno about personality or talent, but when I worked with him about 10-12 years ago he was a raging drunk who refused to leave his yacht in Monaco. They had to write that into the script so his scenes could be shot there. He slurred so badly we had to get a voice double to dub his lines. How he hasn't died of liver failure already I'll never know.

Who needs talent when you have $90 million?

All I know is in one of his movies he got to drive one of the best movie cars ever:

I think that may be part of the reason the ladies preferred Sean Connery over him as the best James Bond .

What's George Lazenby up to these days?

I never bought him as Bond, even though he was the Bond when I was a kid and he was "supposed" to be my favorite. Brosnan's where it's at, even if his last movie sort of sucked.

Easily my favorite bond.

"Sort of??"  That thing ran out of sharks to jump.

\\waaaay closer to the book Bond than anyone ever has gone, even Dalton

Yeah, everyone says that, Daniel Craig is closer to the Bond from the books. They also said that about Dalton in his day because he was boring too. I like my Bond to look like he's having a bit of fun chugging vodka, ganking bad guys and bedding women while also being a cold blooded killer. That was Brosnan. He just wasn't given the best scripts.

No personality or talent? So now he's an official member of the Upper Class? Any news on whether he's a Twit?

I for one appreciate his long years as editor of Dragon Magazine and contribution to the original Greyhawk setting.

Also: anyone remember this movie?

I'm firmly in the middle of the road. I like all the Bonds. Well, except for Lazenby.

Moore penned his autobio 3 or 4 years ago---'My Word Is My Bond'. It was an interesting read.

My Gaming handle and YouTube handle is Greyhawk4x4...so, it isn't obscure to me.

However, I am probably the only other person here that gets the reference.

"By god, you are a girl! Well, nonetheless, a lot of people owe you their lives, including me."

TOTALLY under-rated film...although that poster is preposterous as there are only two women in the movie (not counting the prime minister) and neither one of them is ever in a bikini. One of the best blends of comedy and action with a great cast (Tony Perkins, James Mason, David Hedison, Michael Parks) and very well-shot and edited. Not a wasted or unnecessary scene in the entire film.
